| Monster Hunter is getting an anime. I am so fucking disappointed. It heavily reminds me of the Blade & Soul adaptation. It doesn't even look like the Monster Hunter I'm familiar with. One of them is wearing a school uniform (wtf?) Hell, if it wasn't for the cats appearing I wouldn't have thought this anime was based on Monster Hunter. Although I personally hate criticizing something before it even releases, this already looks like a raging disappointment. And this is not the first time. While yes, anime based on video games are simply made just to advertise a game, it seems like there's just no shame to it with how bad the quality can be. On topic: The Tales franchise (aka: Symphonia) had pretty nice OVAs and as a fan of the game, I personally enjoyed it. It sure wasn't a masterpiece, but it was nice to see more animated material besides the cutscenes. There's also KanColle coming out next year. I doubt it will flop or be overly-shitty.
