| So wait was there a time skip or something from the events of season 1? Money problems. I have some ideas why Shiroe needs all that money, but I can't wait to find out what's truly going through his head. Overall decent episode. Still won't get myself TOO excited though. | Based on what appeared at the start of the episode I guess it's going to be volumes 6 and 7. I'm really excited for this season since there's going to be much more combat in both stories and Akatsuki finally gets a proper storyline like a main character. I don't think a little difference in quality of animation or character drawing will make the show less enjoyable as long as they follow the story in the LNs - which is excellent. Although I doubt it's going to happen, I really hope for some volume 8 content because the LNs were licensed for translation and fanmade translations at BT are probably going to stop ;_;. |

| Nice to see Log Horizon back. Not a fan of DATABASE, but it's kindda special to have it for a third court again, and we lost the great ending of least season to an okay one this season. Otherwise, nice to see everyone back, but I'm not really pleased with DEEN's animatino at the moment. Not all, but some characters are worse (Maybe it's because it's been a while, but I freaked out when I saw Marielle's hair), it doesn't really feel balanced. Well, really distracting to say the least, but will still watch it, and still hope to enjoy it as much if not more than last season. |

Consequently, people who watch this are either familiar with the first season and know what to expect, or read the light novels. That's just how the story progresses in Log Horizon, there is time for action and there is time for politics. You can't compare it to a first season of new anime which will attempt to attract a new fanbase with flashy stuff. I suppose it would be safe to say that LH already has a big fanbase, but I've no data to support this statement. |

| I still like the database opening, but first opening animation I believe was better. Log Horizon is back and I happy about, but this must be about the economy of the round table. This episode did seem a little boring but that ending got me a little confused. Maybe a hint to the ending? probably not? |

| I had an epiphany, the reason Marielle and Massachusetts hair look so odd is because they are drawing over 3D models to speed the process. Most people have read how this anime shifted from satellight to DEEN without changing the base animation team. There should be a reason for the change and I do not think it is money since we have the same people doing it. So the answer is that the people giving the orders changed the way of doing the animation, so that MORE ACTION SCENES could be squeezed in with the same budget. This is very important since (from what I have heard) the story becomes more action driven after all the politics in season 1. |

| I feel that the art has declined, more specifically how Shiroe was drawn. Hopefully that's just me thinking this... Not only that, they started throwing in scenes from the real world all of a sudden... Or at least that's what I think I saw. |

| I liked the first episode but it was kinda difficult to understand like they skipped some scenes to make you understand what's going on but at the same time it gets interesting and makes me want to watch the next episode. |

| Apologies in advanced for being chronologically challenged, but as much as I love this series, the episode confused me quite a bit. First off, if I understand correctly, the first few scenes were suppose to show what will happen during the show in the coming episodes???? Why the heck are they even putting it in on the first episode? We didn't need spoilers like that during the first season, why do it here? LN readers will already know what happens, and for us not-up-to-date LN readers or Anime only viewers, it just serves to confuse us as to why all these characters are suddenly fighting one moment, and playing tug-of-war 30 seconds later... Then the animation for this show has visibly deteriorated. The character's faces and bodies are off, specifically for most of the main characters. Naotsugu looks like he shed 150 pounds in the six month time skip, Marie turned into some plump lady, and the kids of Log Horizon look like they aged 6 years, instead of just 6 months. The change in character animation also made the show less gritty, imho. There was less of the light/dark shadowing contrast that made the first season so much more mysterious, serious and fun to watch. I don't know if its because most of this episode was lighthearted, but I kinda felt like it was just way too chill. I felt like I was watching Crayon Shin-chan or something. It just felt really off for me. Then the scene at the end... like what??? First Marie was saying they had one month till Christmas, then they set out to talk to those NPCs in the middle of a snow storm, and then we get a scene about Shiro and Akatsuki dying together on Christmas Eve? Major inconsistent time-skips? I really expected a chronological story-telling order for this show. Right now I don't know where I'm actually at... and its worse because I didn't read the Novels from vol 5 onwards, I'm seriously confused as heck. |

| YESS TIME TO GET DATABASED AGAIN! xDD I think the scenes at the start and the last part are major spoilers for later on... I don't recognize some of the characters, and Naotsugu got that badass new armor. I just realized this season was animated by different studio, I can see some difference in art and animation there. Anyway, definitely keep watching this! |

| 5/5 I'm a little biased so do not take my vote as gospel truth, the episode perhaps deserved a point at least, but this series is really interesting. The graphics and environments of this TV series before were not that great, so I do not find even this tremendous change in the Studio Deen in favor of Satelight Studio. Certainly the Character Design has changed a bit, as if he had become more "mature", I'd say. The plot is intriguing from the start and storytelling while presenting the time shifts is still good. Opening cute, while maintaining the same music, but I hate the fact that it is showing too many items in the future. Ending very pretty in terms of graphics. I can not wait to see the second episode. For now, my vote is 7/10! |

| Database is still the OP, which has new animation, by the way, yet again it suggests so many things. Speaking of animation, I like how some of the characters have a new look. They look better, in my opinion. Also the ED's cute as always! (^_^) The Round Table has money problems. So Shiroe left with Naotsugu and Regan to talk with Kinjou, a member of Kunie Clan, which controls gold flow and the Royal Guard. A proposition was made and Shiroe and friends will raid the place with the golden whirlpool, but they need a lot of people. I'm guessing Shiroe will recruit Demikas and William as seen in the preview and the beginning of the episode. And somehow, the raid will fail and Shiroe and Akatsuki will die at the same time. Shiroe, I guess, will lose part of his memory. Only mystery left is the knight who Akatsuki and Soujirou will fight. It might be the guy cleaning the Royal Guard. Also, there's that girl who punches hard. I can't wait to see everything tie up together. What a great first episode. |

| Aaaaand I'm back. What's this show about again? lol it's been too long and I've forgotten some things but whatever it will all come back to me soon. Anyway why does Shiroe need that ridiculous amount of gold? Was it mentioned in the first season? And who the hell are the South people? Another group of players? or is that the kingdom and shit? Also I don't know if I've said this before but Serara's voice just sound so adorable. Have to check out her voice actress |
