SNQ is obviously way too mature for being a shounen. In Italy it's even being published under the "Seinen Manga" series by J-Pop, so yeah. And in Japan it's serialized in "Champion RED", and this info is also missing from its MAL page, as well as the year of start (2006).

Non-sense. If you take a look at the manga published in Champion Red, you'll notice that they are all for a mature audience, not for teens. We're not talking about Naruto here.

This is just your personal opinion. Who are you to claim "that seinen is shitty and childish" or "that shounen is mature but not enough mature for the seinen tag"? lol, seriously. Plus, you didn't even read it, ergo you have no idea of what you're talking about. Both you and Kineta are clearly ignoring the fact that Seikon No Qwaser is considered a seinen by almost everyone, included most of the MAL users (seinen under the popular tags, remember) and MangaUpdates.
Not to mention other sites, such as One Manga (http://www.onemanga.com/Seikon_no_Qwaser/) and Manga Fox (http://www.mangafox.com/manga/seikon_no_quasar/).
