| The chibi Fredrica was totally cute! hahha I can't believe even Viivi is a Chaika! Also, Gillette must be alive ,they wouldn't kill him just like that...guess Guy have all the answers we want about Chaikas. It started kinda bad, got good in some point, then bad again and then good in the last 2 episodes...6/10 |

| Couple of points. How did Dominica die, if a Dragoon's magic is strong enough to heal wounds, I would think that would apply to diseases as well. I think they screwed up this one by changing what happened in the light novel. Also it appears Chaika is a clone, of a real princess who seems to have been beheaded. That explains why the 8 heroes would recognize here, and confirms there is a real princess. But a clone would not have a wound of an original. That scar on the neck makes no sense. And what is the deal with Guy. Layla took one look at him, and was like oh crap. |

| When Toru and Chaika Trabant had that little face to face scene I feel like my hopes for this series plummeted. To be honest, that scene made this whole bond between the two glued together because he's attracted towards her. I don't know, this episode didn't cut it out for me, feels too unreal how things played out... maybe rushed? The episode gets a 6.5/10 imo. Overall I'd give the series an 8/10. Those leg creatures looked awesome in that there's monsters there are really hard to kill and I thought that would make the fights more interesting and then dragoon appeared and took a dump on them. |

As far as I am aware, barring physical damage, there is nothing that changes eye color, and even with the aforementioned physical damage, you can't change your eye color to purple. Vivi had blue eyes, and then they changed to purple, the only other characters with purple are the Chaikas. Get over it, she is a Chaika. |
| I love this series, this is my life! Can't wait for season 2. Also Gillette is definitely not dead. They wouldn't have shown he two Guys right behind him as the beam was coming towards him if he was gonna die there. Also regarding "Guy" I think he's probably Gaz's psyche or whatever. If anyone's curious about the the Vivi thing, just go google image all the chaikas , there will be spoilers though so don't if you care about that. |

| I enjoyed this season of this series. As for this episode. Was great to see someone finally snap Akari out of it. Really hope that wizard that she seemed to barely hit with the flat end of her weapon is really dead. Also, "Guy" is really a mystery especially went his appearances this episode. I had to a double take at the explosion that was about to kill Gillette because I noticed that 2 "Guy"s appeared behind him most likely saving him. And then later seeing how scared or in shock Layla was of him makes wonder what it was about "Guy" that made her react like that. And then see him watching Toru's group continue their journey. Kind of wondering now like I have seen some say if he is really the spirit of Emperor Gaz giving info to speed up the retrieval process. I did laugh at the fact/irony of Ricardo saying he would show Toru his guts only to be stabbed in his. Was nice to see Chaika rescue Toru when he fell into the water, give him air via a kiss & then having their talks about him not being a tool. Then Toru going in for a kiss before Akari calling them interrupted them. She must have a 6th sense or something. I felt abit bad for blue Chaika/Layla dying the way she did. Surprised that she stayed with that psycho Ricardo. She must have had more feelings for him then I thought. Maybe his twisted self & wizard was the only ones who showed respect or love to/for her though I was thinking they were just her pawns (a means to an end) but seemed they meant more. At the end seems Vivi turned into a Chaika. And yes I've seen Gosick too but this change seemed different though so, I wonder if she was unknowingly one or knowingly one or something else like someone gave her Vivi identity, etc. Also, I really hope Toru takes Frederica's offer & becomes a dragoon cavalier. Would be interesting to see what abilities he'll get for having a contract with her. It's got to be more than healing right. Can't wait until this returns to see how it goes from here. Overall I think I'll gave this season a 9/10. |

| I didn't enjoy this show that much. Plot was lame and Chaika was annoying. However, there was good amount of action but I see no real purpose behind their so called quest and it feels like the writer will just drag this until he is bored and then end it abruptly. 6/10 |

| Those white-spider-like-Dark Souls-esque-horrifying abominations were damn creepy... I'm not all that convinced that Gillette is dead, mainly because his body was never seen. He'll probably pop up again at some point...somehow...Not sure what was going on with Vivi at the end either. She reminded me of Chaika, or maybe the hair at least. And the eyebrows? I don't know...Enjoyed the ending part in particular with Chaika diving into the water to go after him. The series on a whole was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely be watching the second season. |

| LOL at the chibi Fredrica. Was really looking forward to that kiss but they just had to get interrupted. Vivi turning into a Chaika was unexpected. Dont think Gillette died, probably was saved by the mysterious guy who provides information to Chaika. Overall i really love this series story. The cast and setting reminds me a bit of Scrapped Princess and its no wonder with them both written by the same awesome author. OP and ED are great to listen to as well. Cant wait for season 2. 9/10 |
| Chibi Frederica so fucking cute! Ricardo finally got his comeuppance fucking douchebag kid. Still amazed how Chaika just threw that coffin into the water like it was nothing. First "kiss" was just to put some air into Toru. 2nd one was cockblocked by none other than good ole Akari. IDK about you guys but I'm still rooting for the wincest route with Akari because WINCEST that's why. Also cuz idk I'm one of those people who are against lewding Chaika(which also includes Toru doing the dirty with her, I mean I'm koo with it but still prefer Chaika to be unblemished despite that she might as well just be an amalgamation of random body parts from who knows where. IDK why Layla aka blue Chaika freaked out with the ghost even though I'm assuming that's the same person that helped her before as well. Huh...so there's 2 of those mysterious guys? That must mean they're twins! Or maybe there's even more of them in which we just haven't seen yet. Hoping Vivi really does turn out to be another Chaika cuz more Chaikas= more fun and yeah combine all the Chaikas to become the Chaika megazord/Voltron thingy that some people theorize will happen. |

| Everything before blue chaika arc was decent. Blue Chaika arc had some questionable actions that definitely felt forced. Why didn't MC kill Rinnosuke-ripoff? A casual stab in the stomach? K. Why did they leave Blue Chaika behind? Did they expect she wasn't going to retaliate? Is it because the anime wants a drama moment so they can force a kiss scene? K. I do like that Vivi drama though. Now that she knows her blockhead of a leader is dead, shit be interesting. 6/10 |

| Chibi Frederica was totally adorable this episode, the ending was pretty nice but to also lose Gillette who did serve his role for the other teams main captain is also pretty much a huge lose but the change to Vivi in the end was even more interesting! It's good that that little brat died together with the blue Chaika but well I do wonder what the next season will offer us for a story and what truly happened with Vivi and if that is how every Chaika comes to be! All in all a very good anime I must say that I rather enjoyed marathoning 8/10 |
