| Cardcaptor Sakura was the anime that got me into actual viewership of anime and pretty much kept it going too. It was not my very first anime but at the time anime like Dragon Ball were something I watched to pass the time but I didn't really like them. Sailor Moon was something I liked too but nothing major. |
| My brother told me that we don't have to wait to watch naruto shippuden on tv (when it stop when yamato's crew met sasuke) so i start watching on internet. when i got to the stage where i have to wait every week i start watching others anime, first death note, then eyshield, then soul eater, then fairy tail, then mirai nikki, then hxh2011, then tokyo ghouls,then shingeki no kyojin, then one piece, then kiseijuu, then hajime no ippo, then kuroko no basket, then no game no life, and now i'm wathing fate/zero. xdd sorry idk why i did that |

| I saw Sailor Moon and Pokemon in my childhood but never thought about anime as something special. I also liked some Miyazaki films. But then by chance I heard several themes from Death Note. I wondered how the cartoon having such music could look like. It was my start point in watching anime. But for Death Note I would have never watched anime. |
| It was Avatar: The Last Airbender (ironically). I used to read the episode reviews on AV Club back in 2012 after watching each episode, which is where I learned that the art style and animation was inspired by FLCL (Aang looks a lot like Naota) and that it also had a few references to Ghibli movies. That's when I decided to give anime a shot, and which started my current obsession with it. |

| tokyo mew mew used to air on 4kids in ~2005, it was heavily edited and called mew mew power. loved it and i guess the love started from there. it caused me to watch the reruns of one piece whenever they came on. then my brother found inuyasha and showed it to me and my mom. he told me it was an anime and i used to go to DVD renting places and look at the anime section and get whatever they had. as time went on i found websites that stream anime and yeah. |
