It was a good episode, but my main concern is that I felt like the events that played out in this episode happened way too early. Which may lead to either an innovative story, or a generic romcom.
well this was incredibly stupid ,the whole fight was supposed to be a serious fight ?
im gonna list the fetiches and weird stuff as the series progresses:
overly obsessed with books x2
sadist
bestiality(not done, but considered by the girl)
???
and more
The second part was so stupid and cheesy it almost hurt physically just to watch the episode, especially when Kirihime was reduced to a bumbling fool (I hate it when otherwise strong female characters get this treatment). A pity really, this was a very important moment in establishing Kirihime's character and her relation with Kauzhito. I hope future episode will focus more on the comedy aspects and Kirihime's sadistic behavior. 2/5.
That silly dance! It was really stupid but it really made me laugh. And the dog has a point. What's the point of killing him since it will not turn him into human again. But anyway, this is a surprisingly hilarious and good episode. Was really not expecting much at 1st but hopefully it will be more funny.
This was quite a bad episode compared to last week's. Fighting scenes were really dumb, that sudden change in criminal was even worse. And the usual 'I won't kill the bad guy' ending. Worst part was her character change - 'development', can't believe how easily this show turned from good to really average.. Might check out some more episodes, but this is sad..
What I liked is the notion how readers can turn authors' works against them (to the point of the latter being beaten, punched, and with a fair chance of getting killed). Perhaps too much of a far-fetched association, but it reminded me of Misery. How does the author fend for themselves? With scissors, of course. And connections in the police, it seems :)
The rest of the cast slowly come into focus - are Natsuno and Shining rivals in terms of popularity?
Now, we might have a faceless protagonist. Or rather, a joke in splitting the face of obsessive readers in unknown ningens and personalized M objects as dogs. The empathy shown by Kazuhito to the man who killed him is hilarious, since at the level of reading Akiyama's books, they perfectly understand each other miseries.
I think I stick with the series, it's amusing and interesting, despite the noticeable problems in the animation.

Shows been enjoyable thus far :D
Quite possible. I think Kazu is aware of it, but Natsuno won't give him away that easily :D This dog is an exceptional case, after all.
But who knows what she will come up in the end.
After what I considered a disappointing first episode, I found this episode to be really enjoyable. That fight on the bridge was downright hilarious and even I found Harumi's act to be very noble.
I also got a bit of a chuckle out of Kirihime's bestiality rant.
Oh, Shinning! Kirihime can kick ass, man why aren't any panty shots of Kirihime and Maxie? I wish that Crazy Girls cut that gunman in pieces. SHINNING!
This anime is absurd. It makes no sense, has weird plot progression, yet it is enjoyable. I have a feeling this may be the dark horse of the summer season.
.... This episode was total bs. My first impression from episode 1 was a cool dark humor, comedy anime but it turned into some action drama tsundere ''epic battle'' anime? The f**k was that freakin' fight scene? OMG he used moves from books which is totally natural, and holy s**t he uses books to fight, cause fists are too mainstream. And Natsunos gentle lovey-dovey personality at the end? Would've been better if she had maintained her sadistic personality.
Total disappointment.
just watched the sub version :p
well I never thought if the case will be solved this fast.. :3
btw some new girl show up.. 3 of them hmm.. I see harumi has a sister..
anddd, natsuno.. wait a minute! XD is she falling in love with harumi?! LOL XD
I cant wait to see what happen next.. :3
I wonder if harumi will be a human again.. :/

Not for the exact same reasons, but I have to agree this was a bit of a disapointment compared to the first episode. I didn't think the first episode was amazing, but it was just some dumb and funny and enjoyable. This ep was just dumb.
I hope they turned the criminal in to the police before they left.
I got a bit teary-eyed from seeing the sister at her brother's alter. Although he's dead, he can still live as a dog, but will most likely stay a virgin until his second death.
LMAO
She fell in love with a dog. I honestly didn't expect that to happen so early in the show.
The fight was um, interesting.
I'm guessing it's gonna turn into a harem, I'm curious how the other girls will fall for him if it does. He'll probably die in the end after reading the book, poor girls. Or it'll probably try to do an asspull to keep him alive and possibly become human again and he may choose to stay a dog.
