| Huh, interesting finale ... much more laid back than last episode :P Was confused about Chiho's dream but then was like OH DUH IT'S A DREAM XD Poor Lucifer got scammed ... tsk tsk :P Who would've thought that Ashiya'd be working there?! I didn't think that Maou was plotting something because come on, it's too late in the series for that haha XD So they just needed more money ... ah, daily troubles :P I totally knew that umbrella scene was coming when I saw Maou running out :P Perfect circle eh? Nice ED as well ... nano.RIPE sure is getting around lol :P Overall I really liked this show! TBH when I started I wasn't expecting anything special, I thought it'd be your run-of-the-mill romcom ... but nope, it was way better :P I mean, the characters were all really interesting and it was FUNNY! XD Plus there was the amazing music and animations and yeap, it sure was fun to watch every week :D Would've liked to see more about Ente Isla, but I guess the true "plot" was them adjusting to human life ... ah well, 8/10! It was definitely worth watching :) |

| Man, I'm gonna miss this show A LOT. Emi and Chi-chan were fantastic, even Suzuno was cute, the expresions, the tiny details, like Emi smiling at the end and the umbrella spinning from above. I can't wait for a season 2. |

| this anime took my day off saw the whole thing in one day. I thought this anime was going to be one of those dumb MC who got stuck in a dumb situation which I find entertaining but not the best plot for a good anime but nooo this had to get my attention for the whole day. Now for taking my day off I demand a second season. Awesome anime Really like it. |

| That was a good final episode! The anime of the Spring 2013 season for me (well besides SnK) great jokes , very likeable characters. It would be criminal if this doesn't get a 2nd season! 9/10 for me |

| awwh the series is finally over, definatly was nice watching, and i will miss all the snickering and laughter, I had a feeling this episode would be the goodbyes do to the epic fight last ep. Hope there is a season 2 , maybe get some Maou and Yusa love? haha will be downloading the OST tonight. :OOOO |

| Not much to add to this thread that hasn't been said, but I want to be a part of this Hataraku Maou-sama! fanfare! This anime was pure awesomeness. I'm still on a Hataraku Maou-sama! high. I hope (as damn near everybody does) that there will be a season two. |

| While normal people would like to be superhero, angel, demon or other fantasy hero, this anime show us opposite situation how characters from magic world enjoy normal lifes in our world it's very encouraging that our world may be not that bad as we think. Hataraku Maou-sama! is now my favorite comedy. Deserved 10/10 |

| That really ended off in quite a funny way and well while the blast was done last episode this ending sure made it a nice run out of the show in quite a hilarious way! I really liked this anime from start to the end, the concept alone got me directly hooked and if there would be one day a second season I'm sure to watch it! A great anime in general! 9/10 |

| POS series. I had more fun watching decent shonen show than this weaboo-fest. Jokes are not funny and dumb. There's no plot. Character design sucks. On top of that there was super gay beefcake transformation. If you think that by showing half naked beefcake and adding lolis(I hate them, where are all normal anime girls have gone nowadays?) to your show are going to drag guy's attention you are incredibly wrong. I felt like I was watching cartoon. 3/10 |

| Glad there's going to be a second season! This anime was a GEM. I think this could've been a 9 if not for some weaker episodes here and there, but overall, it was sooo gooood. 8/10. |

| Things dulled down after the first episode imo, it wasn't as funny, but still enjoyable. Maou's personality is quite different from what he had in the beginning, he pretty much turned into a generic harem lead, even though this is not a harem. But, I liked the Khatsu-dum and the umbrella ending, great reference of the first episode! Hopefully there will be a second season soon. Edit: Ju-da-su said: Got to be very honest here, but the anime IS actually the one that strayed off. It's only loyal to the LN for the first five episodes, while the rest are just so full of fillers. 3 out of 7 episodes of the second half of the series are full-fledged anime fillers. Half of episode 11 and 12 are also fillers. So...*shrug* Considering that, then yes, the manga covers less than the anime...but so does the LN though. Anime added their own stuffs too much during the last 7 episodes it gets me worried about second season already because of it. Copied from other thread. No wonder it wasn't as great anymore. If there is a second season, hopefully it'll just stick close to the LN, without adding much fillers @@. |
