That was literally the coolest scene I ever saw. Not only did they include him saving her from you know who, but also he looks pretty legit in HD. Very very different compared to how he looks in Index Seasons 1 and 2. It makes him an excellent protagonist for Toaru if season 3 of Index has him looking like that. Plus, progress in the Misaka Touma relationship so that Touma can dump Index once and for all is very nice and encouraged. That scene when he looked at her was pretty powerful even though I just saw it in the opening I watched it like 15 times in a row lol. |
| Pretty disappointed by the first ep. Way too much anime original nonsense. I don't understand why they have that other level 5 in the first episode, there is no point in introducing her so early unless they plan to make her a part of the Accelerator arc or something which would be silly. Too much anime Saten, too much of that character (Erii I think it was?) that nobody really cares about, absolutely zero plot development in the first episode, I don't think I will watch this show. |

| The gang is back! Woot! That was an awesome first ep. Great way to reintroduce the characters after 3 1/2 years. I've always been curious who the other level 5's were so it was nice to see a new one introduced. Hopefully we see more of them this season. Also that ED was great. Looking forward to seeing those fights as well as the sisters, and of course, Accelerator! |

| Good episode to fire off this show. Been looking forward to it for some months now, and it was good to see Misaka Mikoto inn full glory in action! Dat Railgun Up-side down in the air. The OP was pretty good, and I'm sure it will grow on me coming episodes, and it was always fun to see Accelerator again, even though it was only in the OP. |

| Oh man. Great start. Things are looking up. It's amazing how much better the spin-off is than the parent story. Index went from mediocre to bad, but this was always pretty good. |
| I got so damn hyped up for this series especially when the OP kicked in at the end i love when anything new To Aru comes along and now for half a year of Railgun anime. Though i would rather they keep the sister arc like the manga and not add in Touma till it is his real time to step in, though lets wait and see how things play out the OP does not mean he will come in early. I started rereading the 5th to aru majutsu no index : new testament novel today since i have not read the 6th yet and i wanted to refresh my memory since novel 5 and 6 are a 2 parter? i think that arc wraps up at the end of the 6th novel right? Anyway that only got me more hyped up again for anything To Aru so that worked out well for the new first episode of Railgun today. VioLink said: tsubasalover said: Ok, then. | Awesome to have the girls back. Brilliant as always work from fripSide. And it seems HanaKana's part is a bit increased this season, which is a win. That said... what was this episode? Pretty ok filler, but you don't start a series with a filler :-/ I fear it's great for us fans but a big let-down for anyone not already a convert. A little more plot and/or gravitas would have been much better and in line with what seems to be the tone of the season in general. Hmm... from the OP lyrics (and also the first season OPs), I take it the fripSide composer is actually a fan? Or maybe of the manga? It's pretty spot on (well, for j-pop, with its habit of making about as much sense as a dream you have after passing out from taking too many drugs). |

| Much better than first season. Pace has a better flow, animation has higher details and not bad for the first episode, at all. I can finally look forward for a new episode of a show every week now. |

Anyways can't wait for more of this! don't know anything about this sister arc as I've never read the manga, so All I can do is be surprised and not expect anything. 10/10 for everything! 5/5 for the first EP. :D |

| That was some epic stuff. Was pretty surprised that Misaki got introduced so early (But so damn happy! GOGO Ace and The Queen!!). That upside down railgun was the shiz. More aerial combat should be written in! Wahahaha so stoked! |

| OH, HELL TO THE YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More Misaka action!!! It is nice to see the full cast back. I didn't expect this will feature Haruue and Banri. And yes, Shokuhou Misaki is finally introduced! Misaka's school rival! Bam. I love the discord between them. Of course, love the line that Touma had in the end. Can't wait to see him more in this series. And love the Opening so much!!! We will finally get to see more of the Sisters Arc. It featured Touma and Accelerator! So excited. Wondering if they will reanimate the battle?? I will be looking forward to my Fridays now! This series kick ass. |

Missing epic Misaka's railgun? ;P She just has to went out of her way to destroy an expensive property like a helicopter while Shirai can easily capture the criminals by transporting each one to the police?! lol The first episode feels like a story outside of the LN, but it's a good way to re-introduce the characters. Saten is pretty smart as always, Shirai has turned down her lesbianism a little, but will it last? xD Uiharu is still cute as a button. Regarding Misaka, too much electricity still makes her brain too hot...Misaka?!....ahhhh...*electric shock*...ahhh... forget that, she.is.lovely.*die* Animation has improved a bit. J.C Staff is doing something right this time. Pacing is faster, which I like. Electro-pop from FripSide wins again, though all their songs sound pretty much the same lol. Background music is good as well. I'm interested in how the story will turn out. I think this season covers the sister arc, which is a major tear-jerker in Index. Will the gloomy moments fit in with the overall upbeat feel of the show? We will have to find out. |
