Nothing interesting. In September of this world line Okabe was still in hospital and Cosplay event was held (S;G). There are almost no references to this world line (DR 1.048596%) in C;H but common agreement is it is placed 2 years before S;G.
...

What. Are you sure??
Because I heard that

It's Chaos;Head that took place 2 years before Steins;Gate (It's one year, actually, if I recall correctly). R;N takes place 9 years after.

Yes, I meant it that way, I was talking about C;H in the sentence - I wonder if there will be more references to both animes. We know that

Am I the only one enjoying the pace?

Actually, no. I think the pacing is PERFECT so far with an anime like this.

I'm going to be honest, I really didn't know what to expect from Robotics;Notes. When I first heard the premise, I thought...meh, it probably won't be that good. However, I said the exact same thing when I heard about Steins;Gate...and that ended up being one of the best animes I've ever seen. So far, R;B has really exceeded my expectations. Considering the simplicity of the plot, it pulls off the mystery element nicely and much like S;G, a very unique and interesting set of characters. Frau's character seriously made me laugh my ass off. When I heard her say "Time to fap", I lost it. Much like everyone on here, I seriously did a double take and said, "did she seriously just say that?" Her whole lingo was downright hilarious.

The ending was interesting. It sure added for a very interesting, and somewhat creepy, element to this anime. Is he seeing a cybernetic ghost? lol Idk, but I am sure interested in what episode 5 is going to bring.

I also think it's perfect, these animes that seem slow pacing to others usually end up the best animes >> Can't wait to see the faces of those people who dropped it when it gets popular C8 Same for Little busters, Shinsekai yori & Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo

And I finally find out what happened on that September 11th 2010 :) It seems JAXA will be main villain-organization in this anime, something similiar like SERN in S;G.

It was realease of quasi-zenith satellite system Michibiki:

The First Quasi-Zenith Satellite MICHIBIKI, which was launched by the H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 18 on Sept. 11 (JST) has been maneuvered to shift its orbit from the drift orbit to the quasi-zenith orbit starting on the 21st. The satellite is now confirmed to be inserted into the quasi-zenith orbit over Japan with its center longitude of about 135 degrees through the final orbit control performed at 6:28 a.m. on Sept. 27.

From what I have read so far it's some sort of system combining time transfer and GPS.

There is also nice flash site about this satellite.

Whoa! Didn't even notice that.
Well, it doesn't look like gero froggy, but it maybe because of detalization.

Also, don't recall anything about mass fainting in Chaos;Head. Couldn't you remind me?

Unless I'm remembering wrong; during the series there were these massive earthquakes that did very minimal physical damage but managed to make the majority of Shibuya pass out.

As for the purse charm being possibly connect with the gero charms from C;H, I might be looking too much into it, but after seeing the show put emphasis on it like this I couldn't help but think it might play some sort of major role in the story:

It's been sticking out like a sore thumb in every other scene involving Akiho for me since.

You know, all that Elephant-Mouse syndrome just tells about author's special love to Theory of Relativity.

Well, I was sceptic about this Sceince Adventure entry from the very beginning, after first episode of anime was released I actually liked it very much, but didn't take the plot seriously.
Now I just don't know what to think. Especially considering this:

Frau is kind of disturbing... I think the seiyuu should have been changed. The voice is just too deep in my opinion for her looks. Who exactly is that silver haired girl? Is she a ghost or something? I think it's possible it may be a ghost because of the disturbance in the tablet. Akiho's elephant-mouse syndrome effect is pretty cool. If I had it, school would have been an easy breeze. But it's also horrible because she can't enjoy things as much. The plot is actually getting more and more interesting as it continues. Looking forward to next week's episode! :)

Nice episode.
Makes me wonder perhaps ghost are simply people who came from the past and wandering around in the future, that's why you can't see it but it's possible to capture them with advance device which utilize time dilation technique such as gps satellite.
But that's just my own imagination and nonsense.

Looking forward to next episode.

I was playing the Steins;Gate VN a few days ago and what brought to my attention was a mention of Geji-nee during the scene where Okarin was questioning Daru about the IBN 5100. Apparently she had a backstage role in Steins;Gate where she was gathering intel along with Knight-hart for the whereabouts of the IBN 5100. The same Geji-nee was mentioned towards the end of this episode. Seems to me there is a deeper conspiracy than what we expected from S;G that was never cleared.

Kai is apathetic to the extreme.
Akiho is optimistic to the extreme.

Pair them together and you get awesome character dynamics!

Frau just doesn't sit right with me. Too.. detached? I'd probably be frustrated just trying to talk to her irl.

"Time to fap" Winning line though.

That was a pretty good episode. Finally things move on from the little robots and into a little more story, dealing with the strange occurrence and the Elephant-something syndrome. It's great to see another character, but I do not understand the program and Space Candy company stuff at all, so I don't know what role she plays. I would have been really scared if that happened to me IRL, the ending.
Overall, a great episode, and I would very much like to see more of the plot progress.
5/5.

A solid episode. I wonder if the stakes are going to be raised with our characters later on with the series. Flashbacks and the introduction of the new girl (the one in the ED) at the end of this episode seems to mark a hint of something epic.

Don't think it'll be up to scale with the stakes that the main character of Steins;Gate faced but at this point I'm treating it with it's own merits. Heck I'll be happy it just turned out to be only about a bunch of unique kids trying to build the coolest robot ever but I know it'll be unique.

Frau is epic though.

Don't know why but somehow this anime gives me the feeling that it is the slowest paced among the more than 20 that I follow this season. Perhaps it is how the people talk and things move?

At least now we know something big happened in 2010 and 2015 (and now it is 2019).
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

1 Terra byte of BL? Is it even possible?

Nice episode, some world expansion and some past revealed. Airi and Frau finally shows up. Subaru seems to had some problems with his father? Mizuka-san lost both her legs, and turns out that Mitchie is the nephew of Space Candy company president. Seems like the next episode will be even better, with the strange phenomenon starting to reveal.

I have never read any of the source material for any of the ";" series. Chaos;Head wasn't too interesting, but Steins;Gate was a great anime. So I jumped into this one. So far Robotic;Notes is a very different kind of anime, but not in a bad sense. It has a different kind of story behind it. Instead of facing an antagonist, Robotic;Notes seems to be more about overcoming challenges.

If you don't mind, what did you mean by your statement? Is there a common link among the ";" series?

Huh, I thought the syndrome would come from trauma at a young age, since the brain can be greatly affected by trauma at that age, this is what generates split-personalities, and people who are mental, I thought this syndrome would be a different result.

It's not ";" series, It's official name is Science Adventure Series.
A series of visual novels by 5pb (With nitro+ helping) which is trying to answer a particular popular in sci-fi question in each entry.
For Robotics;Notes it's "What if someone was trying to build a Giant Robot?".
It's pretty obvious for Steins;Gate - Time machine in real world.
The question for chaos;head is in it's title - "what if your delusions becomes reality?"
And believe me, Chaos;Head WAS interesting as Visual Novel, it really was. The anime adaptation was one of the worst adaptations I've ever seen, not only in anime. Even worse then Tsukihime, for example.
They're all in the same universe - it's main thing that unites each entry.
While there was thousands of references to Chaos;Head in Steins;Gate (mostly in novel than in anime adaptation), there wasn't much common in main stories of both.
Robotics;Notes on the other hand seems to be much more related to previous entries.
Especially to Chaos;Head.

There are many things that distinguish Science Adventure.
For example - Huge amount of modern cultural references, conspiralogical atmosphere, strong ties in with reality (John Titor, Michibiki satellite launch, etc).
If ask me, Science Adventure is all about "how do sci-fi elements would look in modern reality as we know it".

Well if you know anything about programming, you kinda have the feeling you know what a ; stands for. There is no common link between the series, different world, different characters etc. But the concept is pretty much the same. And that's what I think he ment when he said Robotics starts to look like an ";" series: some mad student-genious making huge discoveries about some world conspiracies, usually involving gradesque things like time travelling, murders, drama, and overall intelligent and memorable dialogues/quotes. AND not to forget obsessive troll characters that were very fun :P

Robotics was a bit unusual because everybody was expecting the mindfuck I was talking about above, instead we got some slice of life peaceful student playing with a doll like robot. There was no sci-fi stuff, no hardcore conspiracy anywhere, and nobody could even sense it coming. It was a kinda huge surprise too see everything unfolding in episode 4.
