| I welcome the 2nd season of Railgun the manga version has some pretty damn good stuff going on and i want to see it animated. We are already getting the index film so i can wait a bit longer for the third season. The novels for index are far above the index anime anyway. I want to see the Railgun side of the Sister / Accelerator arc. You know the Index version of the Sister Arc was really good but so was Railguns version and if you combine the both of them together you seriously get an amazing story so i want to see it animated. For me concerning what i like better Index or Railgun it is listed like this For Novels / Manga 1st - To Aru Majutsu no Index novels (both the original and the sequel series New Testament) 2nd - To Aru Kagaku no Railgun manga and side novels 3rd (well below 1st and 2nd) - To Aru Majutsu no Index manga, it is not even done by Kamachi Kazuma and falls well below the standard of the novels. For Anime 1st - Still has to be To Aru Majutsu no Index anime 2nd - To Aru Kagaku no Railgun should of been better but i do still like it. The index novels and novel side stories and Railgun manga are all must reads they blow any of the Railgun and Index animes out of the water, if you have not read them i suggest you do. |

| Holy god. Railgun 2 :) This is amazing news. I enjoyed the first one. It would seem the To Aru series will continue to get support. Now I do not have to worry about whether Index 3 will come out or not, just when. |

| I dont see the big deal. I love Index and Railgun but Railgun is better imo, because of Misaka and Saten, Accelerator is Vegeta, never was fond of Vegeta. Besides S3 of Index will come, it's just a matter of when, same with Durarara S2, it may take a while but it's coming, chill people. |

| I still haven't finished the first season since the Raigun anime is pretty much the worst part of the franchise barring possibly the Index manga adaptation, plus I doubt JC can get the doomed atmosphere of the Sisters arc right, plus I really wanna see Index III, plus I can already hear the otaku bitching when Kamijou takes center stage and they can't get their moe fix, plus I'm worried there'll be as much or more fanservice than Index II had, especially since there's a good chance the second half will be fillers again, but even if it isn't, the manga kinda lost its direction after the Sisters arc too so even if the anime still had one, they couldn't go very far with it, plus... Alright, got it out of my system for the time being. Now I can focus on being super hyped about the next instalment of my favourite franchise. |

Believe me, I liked the first season and it's novels, coudn't handle the second though. While it's true that it gets better after that, it's also true that New Testament so far is disappointingly bad. That said, I have yet to read anything Index/railgun related better than Sister's arc from Railgun's manga, that's why I have hopes for this second season if they finally decide to include it. |

| Hopefully this will actually follow the manga for the Sisters Arc and not be more cute girls doing cute things. If it is, it'll actually be a pretty nice"intro" into Index III for some of the characters once we get to volume 15 material. Pretty sure if Railgun II does well, as well as the Index movie, another season of Index will be announced. Then they can even follow up with Index IV since whatever volume they choose to end Index III (either 18, or my guess would be 19, and hopefully nowhere near volumes 20-22) with will be a cliffhanger. |
