| Mukashi no Yoshida-kun Episode 10 and 11 will be released within a Smartphone/iPhone application. There are over 30 parody scenes in the whole of Haruhi, most of which aren't easily recognized by Japanese people, let alone foreigners. Haruhi definitely deserves a parody genre in its list. Moreover, parody is seldom ever "a focus", but rather something peripheral to comedy (the few exceptions being animes like Nurse Witch Komugi-chan). If parody was to be taken off of Haruhi, then it would certainly be taken off of Gintama too, which would render pointless the classification of parody in general. The point behind these genres is that they would be pointless if they were applied to everything or nothing. That balance is best understood by those who have dealt with genre distribution for a long period of time. That's primarily why I usually have no say about genres. |

| jw, who came up with the romanization for kyoukai senjou no horizon? I mean, the word horizon is kyoukaisen, and kyoukaisenjou is a noun or adjective meaning the position on the horizon. It shouldn't be split, most certainly not between kai and sen. It almost makes it look like Horizon on the Religious Battlefield (教会戦場のホライゾン) if you ask me. Well, I guess if that was the intended pun, then it can still be a synonym, but that pun is not clearly visible on this title. Moreover, both kyoukaisenjou and kyoukai senjou would come up if kyoukai senjou was searched, but kyoukai senjou would not if kyoukaisenjou was searched. |
