| EXCALBIUR!! It's great to finally see Excalibur animated properly. I really wanted to see Iskandars army fight with Caster. Will hopefully be in BDs I really liked the conversation between Iskander and Gilgamesh. Looks like Gil is starting to love Saber more. Did Gil seriously just lose his Vinema though? That sucks it was a pretty kick ass NP. And did they take Gils flashback out? |

| That was beyond epic. Once again F/Z delivers. Seriously, what can any of these average joe's accomplish without Kiritsugu? Saber's Excalibur was definitely the highlight of this episode. Farewell Caster, took you long enough. The conversation about Saber between Gilgamesh and Rider once again displayed how different of a type of King they are from each other. That provocation by Rider was pretty gutsy, this will be a good rivalry. Kariya getting "treated" by Kotomine just looks brutal. Diarmuid is a true knight! I gained some more respect for him this episode. Judging by the preview, he's going to be involved in something major next episode. Also, did he casually speed-blitz Berserker and decapitate his jet? Awesome. On a lighter note, Iri-kun panicking from the phone call and being so clueless made me fall in love with her all over again. ^^ |

| That's how you do Excalibur. Studio Deen take note. The melody was so beautiful during the charge-up. The hopes and dreams of all warriors, lightly touched with a hint of sadness (due to the sacrifices that had to be made or from Arturia's tragic life). The episode in general was much better than the first episode. The fights were more dynamic and varied (rather than Berserker shooting the same missiles over and over and with the camera panned out). Better character interactions and I'd even have to say an improvement to the animation and visuals. Would have been nice if we could see inside Rider's Reality Marble though. Minor issue however. Kariya's wave of insects made him look retarded though. Sending all those insects into a wall of fire, not even trying to go around it... He is letting his emotions, as righteous as they may be, blind him. As a weaker magus, he should have at least tried different things instead of expending all his magic on suiciding his insects into the wall of fire. |

| Amazing episode. It was nice hearing the Excalibur and Sword of Promised Victory soundtracks, even though they were a bit different. It gave me goosebumps anyway :D The aerial battle was great as well, looks like Berserker actually won that one. avengerx105 said: I'm confused. | I was quite eagerly awaiting Kajiura's version of Sword of Promised Victory, and I was not dissapointed. It's still very much there, but with her personal touch of course! Awesomely epic beam sword attack is EPIC. Barserker's and Gil's dog fight sequence was also very nice. And LOTS of other little things to list were also very nice. Best anime of this season hands down... |

| This episode wasnt as exciting for me. Felt like it was just an episode of Saber to show her true power. But I guess that's the point. She really hasnt shown her potential until now. I'm just so caught up with Rider I guess. |

On second thought, I'm going to reserve judgment on that until the end of the series. If Rider uses Ionioi Hetairoi again over the course of the series (against Gil?), then they were definitely right not to show it in this episode -- three times would diminish the epicness of it. But if he doesn't use it again, then maybe you're right to say that they should've shown a quick 15-20 second clip of it. |
