GC just keeps getting better and better (interpret that as sarcasm or seriousness).

Shu is totally evil right now, and Inori has turned to the dark side as well. I never liked Yahiro; Shu totally should have known by now he is not to be trusted.

Thanks, person who gave me this on another site a long time ago, lol.

It could if they can infuse the same Genome Shu has into his duplicate Clone. Although I don't see how that would work since the clone might not have good memories since the transfer of that can be tricky.

Anyway the other alternative is the rematerialization but guess what? Mana is also coming back in this case. Mana/Gai were holding each other right before he dies so that is why I think so. So Gai yes can have Shu's powers but Mana will be back.

Hmm....not as good as last episode, but still interesting nonetheless. Inori's kinda acting weird now. Well, I don't know what to think of this show anymore.

And yes, I think Gai should STAY dead. I don't want him to be a clone either. YOU.ARE.GONE. So stay that way!

Pretty good episode.

Shu became a tyrant(Tricked thinking Hare was killed by a new weapon) and unfortunately now even if he wants to he can't turn back on his decision.

We do see however that this "badass" attitude is somewhat an act. It seems in order for him to advance he has to act hard and dense but we do seem some bits and pieces of his old self every now and then.

Inori has a change of personallity as well..(Murders the girl and her attitude seems to have changed)

Then of course we have the revival of Gai.. I have a feeling he has fell to the dark side if they were the ones that revived him and Shu's mother feels as though she won't forgive him.
Got to wait another week now!

The revival of Gai is sketchy.. It depends how they'll play this out but this could go poorly.. A show either pulls off a revival of a character and it makes it 1000 times more epic or it just makes the show retarded. Got to wait and see how this one will play out.

I have to say I was hoping Shu would be a badass but, this episode he was just a jackass I get that his intentions were good but, the way he went about doing them were wrong and, what will happen to to ayase and the others when gai is back are they going to betray Shu when they know he was dead

I really didn't want Argo to die.. that was so horrible. And Inori, I didn't think I could hate you

First off I should say that I really want to punch Shu in the fucking face. He is going absolutely insane with power. If he kills Argo I swear I will lose it. Inori is finally showing signs of Mana's personality but wasn't the point to stopping Shuichiro and Yuu was to not have Mana's soul pour into Inori's body? Okay well I just looked at the preview of the next episode and now i am even more pissed off at Shu. Even though he fucking knows that if your void is destroyed you die he's still gonna fight a war with the anti-bodies with all the people holding their voids. The least he could do is tell them and see if they are still willing. God damn he is not a good leader and I want him to get the shit beaten out him. Hopefully he notices Inori changing before it's too late for her, I mean he was startled when she said that one line when they were in their secret little get away. The plot is advancing though and I can't wait to see what's in store. Gai! you're alive! well artificially created like Inori. I wonder why they did this. He must be important for their "plan"

Pretty crazy episode things keep getting worst and worst best things that happened
Argo punching Shu trying to knock some sense of him
Ayase Slapping Shu
Inori becoming somewhat of a character insane bitch Doesn't change the fact that something needs to happen to her for hurting Arisa !

But Gai coming back?! Why Why would you do that GC! you were on a roll up till that end.

I was wondering how long it would take before they dropped the other shu. Gai is revived, sorta, or whatever. So much for holding on to that slim hope that his death had a point.

Really hoping Shu keeps his shit together and doesn't revert to back to wet blanket mode. Argo just threw his opinions around like melodromatic birdseed. Does he not realize just how bad the situation is in Tokyo? It'd be nice to think Arisa died finally, but nuts to that. 'Tis but a flesh wound I'm sure. Here's to a better next episode.

Oh wow, just fucking wow. Another great episode. After Hare died, Shu has changed so much but for the wrong reasons. Still it's understandable but he's going a bit too far, selfish much? That little Argo and Shu fight scene was interesting. That poor innocent A Rank girl died. Yahiro didn't tell Shu Hare died because her Void was destroyed, owow. Argo was trying to help Shu but instead Shu takes out his void and thinks about snapping it while laughing hysterically, holy shit that reminded me of Light from Death Note. I presume Mana still resides in Inori since Inori totally doesn't grin when she goes assaulting people, especially allies like wtf! That actually shocked me, Inori saying 'I found you', holy shitballs. xD What I didn't expect was Gai to come back. Like seriously, what was that dramatic death scene in episode 12 for then? >.> So Gai and Mana are still alive again. I'm guessing Gai's gonna intervene and stop Shu and punch some sense back into him.

Anyhow, I enjoyed this episode, giving it a 5/5. I just wanna see Shu be his normal cheerful self again but retain his 'badassness'. Hare, if only you were still alive. D:

I guess watching a series that makes me want to retch with the terribly placed hypocrisy by the studio (a la Star Wars prequel) is fine for another 8 episodes as long as I get to laugh at the "good guys" and clap every time Major Makoto starts to play with his cell phone.

I don't get what the point is that they're driving - whether being an asshat is good (first half of series), or whether being an asshat is bad (second half of series). Horribly inconsistent if you ask me.

What an exiting episode because:

-Shu becomes an insane mofo.
-Inori being semi-possesed by Mana; showing her evil side = win.

Great episode, but almost every character have become unlikeable for me now. Gai revive (don't like it), Inori becoming crazy, Shu is getting more devilish, Yahiro manipulate Shu, Souta because he's the reason Hare died. Hare is the only character that i like.... But, i'm glad GC becoming whole lot better

my assumption is, the clone who revive might be shu's father, but if that guy is Gai he will be use by GHQ president (he's just a pawn) to Shu to become a complete king. i'm still wonder when the first void king will expose himself but i'm still believe the void king is shu's father or perhaps a kin to him, definitely is not Gai because in episode 1 shu's void genome is the last one the two other void genome was already own by the respective void king. Shu is in the process of collecting void perhaps when he collect those all void his power will chance he might not need those people anymore to draw a void, the void might just appear in his hand at his will of course except for inori since she's the queen. if you remember the other void king in episode 12 he can fly and he has power on his own. what's their purpose why they one shu to become complete king well if you want to start a new race you must keep in your family first that's why my suspect is the first king is shu's father since his the one who first study the virus.

wow really. Are they really going to bring back gai. Why can't they just keep dead characters dead -_-.God dammit just when it got better it tries to hard.

Also shu's personality is damn inconsistent in this episode. He goes from nice tyrant to nice to confused to evil maniac. wtf?. Does the void power affect him or something?

Kinda weird how he just finds out by accident that destroying a void kills the origins of the void. I mean wow a boomerang hits the ceiling and seconds later it falls down directly at a girl and her void. Bit random but dunno seems a little like lazy writing.

I guess other than those problems and some the episode as a whole is eh. Not bad but tolerable.

Quick thoughts:

Shu acted like he was more dead then alive. We can definitely see shades of Gai in his behavior. But Gai had years of experience and a solid support team. Shu doesn't. Yahiro is lieing to him about important stuff. And Inori... Well Inori isn't herself and next to Shu, supporting, influencing him. Still, he wants to help, to save as many people as he can.

Go Ayase. She slapped Shu. He needed it. I still think that she is the only one that can reach Shu, get him back on the right track, since Hare died.

As for Argo. Yeah, he did beat Shu, but he's a trained fighter, Shu's not. He still sees the Shu of the past, hasn't had the chance see how he changed, has grown in the past weeks. Still Shu was able to shut him up with the simple question. What would you do in my place? Argo's the outsider, he doesn't know what has happened, what they needed to do to survive. It's easy to nit-pick when the burden isn't on your shoulders. In some ways, Argo was acting like Shu did when he first fell with Funeral Parlour.

Inori, in episode 14, when she Beat up/Killed those students. I wondered if, or how the events of episode 12 had effected, changed her. It appears that she's becoming Mana, or more percisely, 'The Queen'. Mana being Shu's loving Older sister. 'The Queen' is the Virus created/transfered Personality, the one set upon mating with Shu, at the time a 7 year old boy. Still, this is not the Inori from before episode 12. She's different and the scary part is that she next to Shu, supporting him, influencing him.

Yahiro, I don't know what to make of him. Is he on Shu's side, but giving him bad advice, which he believes to be right? Or is he trying to hurt Shu, because of what happened to his Brother? Or is he in league with Kiedo & Segai, pushing Shu towards their ultimate goal? Or is he under the Queen's/Inori's influence/control?

What is Keido's plan, his Goal? Is he still trying to become Adam to Inori/Mana's Eve? Why is Haruka helping him? And what did she mean when she said this was what Kurosu, Shu's Father, wanted?

Things are heating up. There's an Armada in the Pacific, heading towards Japan. Perhaps to stop Keido? Or maybe something else. I expect to see the third Leukocyte to come into play.

And let's not forget, Gai's back. Is he a clone? Or did they revive his body? If so, How did they get their hands on his Body?

What do you think?

I must say, you always seem to bring up some good points.

I had the feeling that the armada might be there to destroy Tokyo and that I understand where Shu is coming from when asked those questions to Argo and at least it showed that he still had a caring bone in his body, but now his totally lost it.

I'm not sure how they got Gai's body, if it is his real body, but I think the question is weather this Gai is bad or not (obviously he's most likely bad)?

All the questions you came up with will most likely be answered in the last few episodes.

My guess is that they brought him back. They're going to use for... something. I don't know what that is though... Also, my guess? He's going to have the power to draw on voids as a counterpoint to Shu. Should be an interesting final battle between them. I think. Especially since Gai has the upper-hand against Shu. Experience. Skill. Knowledge.

Quite frankly? Shu is fucked. Especially since Inori is turning into Mana.

I'm to eager to see if he can pull something off.

I hate this show.
I came in expecting Shu to mature like Simon did in Gurren Lagann and then for it to get awesome and exciting, but it just kept letting me down.
The opening made me get hype again cause I thought the new opening was kinda showing Shu was gonna become a really cool guy who wore Gai's coat, but he's not. WHY...? The only thing I can look forward to is Shu becoming a cool guy in the last 2 or 3 episodes, but I am going to dread the next couple of episodes. ;_;

It would be nice if he did. However, it took time for Simon to step up and become a leader. Even then, Simon's leadership style wasn't nessecarily the best for most situations. Kicking Butt, Yes. In time of Peace, not so much. Shu isn't getting the time he needs to get his head on straight, which is what Simon had after Kamina's Death.

Shu has the potential to become a leader, a great leader even. But this won't happen with all the garbage he's being subjected to. Keido and Company are pushing Shu towards someting and we can be certain that whatever, that is, it's not going to be a good thing for Shu and Company.

^ This. I agree 200%. Poor Shu. So much crap heaped on him. You can't expect him to suddenly be like Gai. Hell, I'd be surprised if he was capable of match him now. Gai had a decade to prepare.
