Synopsis

Argo is airdropped into Loop 7 as part of his mission to rescue Arisa as the head of Shanghai's Ming Hua Group, who is in love with her and in exchange for rescuing her, promises her grandfather Okina that he will have the Association of Asian Nations intervene in Japan. As he explores the area, he witnesses Tennouzu students with Void weapons attacking another group of survivors for vaccines and has one of them follow them to Tennouzu to see her Void. Recognizing Argo as a member of the Undertakers, they take him to meet Shu, where he is shock to see how much Shu has change. Since Hare's death and implementing the ranking system, Shu has ruled the school with an iron fist by making students with Void weapons as his Secret Service who enforce his rule and maintain order while searching for other potential void users in the area to join Tennouzu while the F-ranked void users remain infected with the virus and are ordered to work repairing a battleship they will use to escape Tokyo in exchange of getting vaccines. Argo denounces Shu on what he is doing which forces Shu to have him locked up for refusing to swear loyalty to him. In his jail cell, Tsugumi explains to Argo because of the blockade and extermination led by the Anti Bodies and that Hare was supposedly killed by them using a new weapon that infects people with the Apocalypse virus, everyone accepted Shu's iron rule without challenge as they all want to survive. Alone with Inori, Shu confides to her that he doesn't like ruling the students like this but he must do it for the sake of everyone. Inori comforts him but suddenly talks like Mana much to his confusion. Argo escapes from his cell to find Arisa who is also locating him as well which Shu orders Yahiro, Inori and the Secret Service to stop them. Cornering Argo in the school's stadium with Yahiro and the girl who recently join the Secret Service, Shu and Argo fight. When a falling beam is about to hit the girl, Shu pushes her to safety but her Void is destroyed which cause her to be infected with the virus, killing her. Learning that destroying Voids also kills their users, Shu realizes that Yahiro lied to him how Hare die which he justifies or Shu wouldn't implement the ranking system. Argo hopes this will make Shu change but Shu forcefully pulls out his void and laughs on whether he should destroy Argo's Void. Arisa, who witness everything, tries to warn everyone of the truth about voids using the broadcast room but she is stopped by Inori who gives a maniacal glee before attacking her. With the rescue mission a failure, the head of the Ming Hua Group cancels his help but advices Okina to leave Japan as a large Naval Fleet is coming. Meanwhile, Haruka and Shuichiro resurrect Gai. (Source: Wikipedia)
