| Why? The first season actually had a real ending, unlike all most other anime shows. This feels like an overkill. The first season wasn't even good... just a bunch of "moe" characters doing nothing every episode...guess this is how K-ON got another season |

| It was only a matter time given its sales and how the entire final episode set up a second season, but glad to see it confirmed. -edit- Reading over this topic really makes me realize how different tastes are here than Japan. Dog Days was one of the biggest critical hits in Japan in the Spring season, and it was the kind of show everyone watched there, even if they didn't love it, so it had one of the highest ratings of all late night anime outside of Noitamina. Why can't people just appreciate cute girls like Japanese do? |

| I like the first season somewhat but I wasn't expecting a second season to be announced. I have other shows in mind that I would prefer a season for(Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko, The World Only God Knows) but I will be watching the second season. |
