| I can't believe she's gone, I had been constantly checking to see if she would be coming back to anime ever since her induction to be hospitalized back in 2008. All of her characters and roles I've watched her struck a chord with me, the amount of talent in any role she was given, she did all of them perfectly and memorably. I cried in Air for Mizusu back in 2004, and I still cry everytime I rewatch Air, and part of it is Kawakami-san's ability to make the entire thing memorable. Now I will probably cry twice as hard rewatching Air. At least I had the honor of watching works with her talent and at least she will be immortalized in many people as being one of the most talented seiyuus that has been around. On that note, I'm going to make sure I watch the rest of the animes that she has had a role in. Rest in Peace, Kawakami Tomoko. |
| Rest in Peace... She had a lot of good roles and was a talented voice actress. Without her, Chrono Crusade, Air and Elfen Lied wouldn't be as great. So young to go away. My prayer and condolences to her friends and families she left behind. |
