| Wtf, I just started the original a few weeks ago. XD Not opposed to it though, looking forward to the revamped visuals. I hope they keep the same voice actors as far as possible. :) I'm gonna keep watching the original anime for sure though. ^^ |

| This is cool as hell, started watching the show on 4kids and eventually brought the manga. Zakuro was my favorite character and I can't wait to see her re-imagined. I just hope that they don't rush this. |

| I feel like if this gets a proper license, it can show the series the proper respect it deserves when being shown to audiences. It might even get a proper dub that isn't butchered by weird editing. I hope this is a good adaptation that shines just as nicely as the original. ^_^ |

| When they paired up Ryou and Lettuce and Masaya was the Blue Knight the anime became stupid and dull so no. And remakes are forms to gain money without having to think of a good story, I only watch anime / manga that differed pretty much but even if is like that for this, definiitvely not watching. |
People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English? |

| Read all the TokyoPop volumes in my late elementary/early middle school days, watched the original anime with subs, actually got to buy the Kodansha omnibus of A La Mode several years later. Used to like it quite a bit, but now that I've went out of my comfort zone and seen more magical girl series, I definitely believe that Tokyo Mew Mew is just...... okay. Not that good when it comes to the magical girl genre imo, but it's not a bad gateway into the genre and I still understand how it appeals to people. That being said, I'll still watch this. I'd be really excited if it turns out that A La Mode got adapted though. I feel like I'm one of the few people in the whole world who actually likes Berry, even over Ichigo. I liked seeing Berry and Tasuku way more than Ichigo and Masaya, even though I didn't ship Ichigo with Quiche like a good amount of the fanbase did. Anyway... I really feel the need to point this out...  Holy crap, Mia Ikumi's art style changed so much in 20 years!! I mean it looks cute but damn it's really amazing what 20 years can do. I wish Mia Ikumi made more manga though, it seems she's only made a few other stuff aside from Tokyo Mew Mew (actually there's a lot of mangaka that I wish made more manga other than their famous ones lmao). minniemoon said: It's still happening, it's just it wasn't an anime.
