| I liked it! I'm so glad someone picked this story up. The OVA was one of the first anime videos I'd ever seen. ^^ The opening song was nice, and so was the ending. I liked the character designs, but I think I prefer the old design of Birdy. Is anyone going to sub this? |

| While I have no prior experience with Birdy I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this episode and hope that it stays this entertaining. Easily the most promising thing I've seen from this summer thus far. |
| first episode was good but it unfortunately looks to be heading into the superhero and monster of the week realm- both of which i'm not a fan of. |

| This first episode was pretty good! Really liked the fighting sequences. The ending was pretty good to (it's a rare thing for me, to enjoy the ending more than the OP =P). |
| Decend first episode. Nothing great, but it was entertaining and the action scenes were one of the better in that specific genre. Moreover it's pretty funny for the heroine to accidentally kill the main guy in the first episode (though not really new). xD |

| This anime have this "old" feeling to it, like it's made in 2000 but really good first episode so far. Ending song is tight. |

| So we're only an episode in, but already things are looking promising. I feel like I'm really going to enjoy this show. The original source is a manga right? Is there any chance of there being any sort of deviation from that? Did the original OVA stick to it? This is my first exposure to anything Birdy so I would like to know. |
| I enjoyed this episode. I liked the voices a lot, and the animation was well done. I think I prefer the original birdy's character design from the OAVs. Watching this did make me feel nostalgic, it has been so long since I watched those OAVs, but I really enjoyed them too. I am just happy to see new Birdy, and happy to see they put some effort into it. Nice op/ed also. |

| Pure Kazuki Akane series so far : great animation, very original plot involving protagonists from different worlds trying to know and interact with each other, very solid characterization (with a love triangle of course) and on top of that a perfect direction. Oh and the Afromania ending made my day too ;) |

| I sat through the first 2 minutes and thought that it would be another shitty anime. then the OP started and I was intrigued. Another 10 minutes I was taken in by the art. It was good. Then the action caught me by surprised. I was pleased. After 17 minutes the story took an unexpected turn. I'm sold! |

| A good first episode, I'm liking the characters already especially y Birdy. Action scences were well done. It's pretty funny for the heroine to kill the main guy and should be interesting to see them sharing the same body... don't know how thats going to work out... conflict in genders and all... not to mention she is an alien. |

| Pretty good start but it really freaked me out when i realized i had already seen something like that. xD I just didnt remember i saw the OVA like years ago n_n So if i had doubts on watching it now they're gone :D |

| I can't exactly remember why I started watching this. The character designs and synopsis were mildly interesting, I guess. I watched the first episode not expecting much, but it was OK, so I decided to stick with it. Early on it was dangerously close to being a monster-of-the-week or just dumb, but it got better. Though I must say, Birdy's suit is a little... questionable for a galactic police officer. Personally I'd prefer something with a little more protection, but I suppose the abilities it gives her make up for that. |
