| We found the oil, black gold, Texas tea a bit faster than I thought lol, that was thanks to the camera and Kohaku’s eyesight, and you can’t forget the boar that nearly became their meal lol. And right away it was put to use with a motorboat to set out to sea for the first time with, really loved that moment, as well as when Taiju mistook the gas for a love potion which we witnessed in a flashback lol, I guess he’s never been to a gas station before. But that wasn’t even the best moment of the episode, I truly loved the ending bit where their GPS got interrupted and it turned out to be Morse Code saying “why”, it was definitely spooky and the realization was awesome, especially with Senku’s reaction, I’m not sure if it’s actually the person that caused the petrifaction of humanity but it’s still cool to think it might be, I mean who else would have the tech to interrupt their signal at this point. Very cool stuff tho, things are starting to get really interesting. And as a last note, nice to see Suika back and she has a dog now lol, a cute combo. |

| Loved this episode. So happy to see Detective Suica back in action! Looks like we got a bit of a timeskip into the Fall too. But it was the ending that really made the episode. That cryptic message in morse code and Senku's face when he realized. Now things are getting juicy. It feels like the gang finally has a lead. |

| Finally, it looks like it's time for oil to take the spotlight. With Kohaku's amazing vision and the introduced little buddy Sagara, they were able to go as far as to already have a speedboat. Next up is the GPS (things are developing so fast) and to do that they set up a lighthouse with signals. But alas, the introduction of Why-Man has set the course of the history now. How thrilling. |

| Wow! things are moving so fast, i kind of wish we got to see more of the engineering behind this stuff. anyways what an exhilarating end there, i'm on the edge of my seat. i could tell right away what that interference was and it was creepy as all heck. |

| The last scene is so amazing! Finally we have some hints of the premise in the beginning, also imagine how fast they'll progress with the discovery of petroleum. |

| Always wondered if maybe someone else had already "woken up" thought we would find that out during their expedition. The last part of this episode let us know that someone or something is out there, I got goosebumps. |

| God that last part was perfect, so deliciously ominous, totally out of left field sending a chill down my spine. Just imagine that shit in a world devoid of (the majority of) humans. Even better when it sounds so hostile, not something you would expect as a literal first contact message. Stoked for more! |
