That still doesn't justify her behaviour, in fact, it's such a cliche explanation that I don't feel an ounce of pity for her. She has gone on this long without Yuzu, so she should carry on without her. I did think the reason for her being unlikeable was because her parents were assholes, but she still comes across as a brat that needs to disappear no matter what. |

| @GenesisAria She's no an idiot. If she wasn't sexually abused a child, as a teen, I doubt she would develop such a skewed sense of what sex means or what it's like. We have no idea what her sexual history is like and again, there isn't much evidence to go on. The fact that she forced herself onto Yuzu to show her what it felt like to be kissed by that teacher, to me, shows that she knows this kind of behavior is wrong. I just think she has a skewed or cynical view of what love is and what sex means to people. She seems to view it as a tool to manipulate and get what she wants like she did with the teacher and and like she tried with Yuzu. |

I don't think you need to experience it to know that sex is a powerful tool, even as a teen. The media we all consume in the form of television, film, books, and even music all shows that people are willing to do a lot for sex. It's really not that difficult to figure out. Even if she was sheltered her whole life, she can still learn to manipulate people this way fairly easily. |

No I'm not assuming that at all. I'm stating an alternative. My point was that there is no evidence and that your explanations don't have much evidence. Experience is as likely as her learning about sex through people and media. |

| Matsuri makes a pretty good antagonist tbh, her actions are evident that the love is mutual between Yuzu and Mei. Because Mei was all over the place I couldn't tell lol. Her behaviour is really something else too, scamming old dudes at such a young age. Anyways, I want to see how this will play out. |
| Great episode. Matsuri is up to no good... :P She's pretty much the perfect "antagonist" in this story. I love her character! |

| The last time I've seen this much of a hardworking homewrecker was Scum's Wish, and I don't think any character should strive to become anything resembling that particular case, despite my eventual understanding and acceptance of that Scum's Wish character. Vengeful, prone to violence, jealous and envious, scheming, spiteful, and full of sadism. Goodness gracous. I dislike these kinds of characters because they rarely have any personality or purpose beyond just causing drama. They're like walking disaster zones, and whenever they show up, the anime's story always gets thrown off course, pivoting hard to dealing with rampant misunderstandings, lies, and outright malice purely due a singular character's unrelenting hatred of anything resembling peace. I really hope there's more to Matsuri's character than just screwing with people, figuratively or otherwise. |
| I wonder how Matsuri is going to be like throughout the rest of the series now that she is introduced. But it seems like she is going after Yuzu as well. Can't wait to see how this ends. |
