Also, if I'm basing this on my personal scale, it's around the 7-8 area, but if I base it on the first episode, it's a 10. After all, it delivers what it promises. So I'm still torn about scoring it :< |
| I love everything about this series except Tail Blue, but even her loathsome flat-chested wretchedness only takes a point or two off. So yes, Twintails definitely deserves a better score. MAL users do hate fanservice and fun, though, which is what this series has in spades. |

| If you consider it a 7.5 it's only 0.7 off the mark. Personally I find Cross Ange more underrated as I prefer that to this and it's only rated 6.73. That's just to mention one from my "recent memory". |

But the most underrated gem this season would be Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru, the score for that show is so unfairly low even though the show is absolutely incredible and it has amazing art, animation and an outstanding soundtrack. |
| QUALITY kills any enjoyment this show would give. Anime has poor budget, they would never be able to animate it as LN art shows, they constantly use same TailRed attack sequence. Shows seem to rely more on parodying tokusatsu, but it just annoys me how often vilains and heroes just stand and do nothing. |

| I started watching this show on a whim, and holy shit! It's by no means a masterpiece, but it's pretty damn funny if you take it for what it is. | As much as I love this show, it completely butchered the original novel series by skipping so many things and censoring practically everything. For example, Souji's mother was talking about how both she and her husband had roleplay sex often and how Souji was just a fortunate accident. But what we're missing is: Our bed crawling scenes Overlord mother AV star Twoearle Genderbend Souji breast fondling The amount of perverted jokes filled the pages, the lewd scenes were rampant, and nearly all was lost in the anime. Aika for example would always pull on Twoearle's breasts every single time she made a sex joke. Nonetheless, still rating it a 8/10 since the show did its job as a guilty pleasure and ridiculous series. If you guys are interested, the anime will adapt up to part of volume 4, pretty much missing the trip to the beach and the introduction to a new TailGear. |

Almost all the "fights" were boring as hell and ended before even starting each and every one of the the same way and dem silly aliens sending 1 man at a time, really? lol Also anime felt very censored... Too censored... Also had some disgusting stull like them creeps obsessed with "traps" eww It had nice drawing tho (characters at least, like Tail Red). |

| I wouldn't say it's the most underrated show of 2014. Looking only at animation, soundtrack, characters and story, it's between 6 and 7. But it's so enjoyable it deserves a whole point more just for that. It's probably one of the most unappreciated shows of 2014. |

| Well it has a lot of competition for position of most underrated gem of 2014 with daimidaler and samurai flamenco getting similar ratings and a lot of people hating on akame ga kill. but well in genral MAL community is very good at finding pats of an anime to bitch about, exceptions on predictable plot, plot armor and usleless fanservice (not implying i find fanservice a problem, it's just that i prefer anime go all the way rather then sticking to watered down ecchi in a situation can't be improved by it) have all been found quite more often then one would think, and all most of those cases are shielded from exposure due to good ratings by an army of critics usually only giving death note, clannad: after story, monster, madoka and somethimes cowboy bebop, gintama and/or todora decent ratings |
