| I like the humor in the first season a lot better. Things like Pikachu putting on boxing gloves and using "Rocket Punch" were funny. The newest season of Pokemon is still great though if you're a fan of the games and like seeing Pokemon animated. There are plenty of entertaining characters and the battles blow the older seasons' out of the water. The Tag-Team Tournament was great. Ash vs Paul at the Suzuran Conference tops every other battle in the series so far. - - And Ash, and all the other characters, are ageless because children are getting introduced into Pokemon with each generation of games. That's way the anime recycles itself and has the characters remain the same. I honestly think it's incredible how people still whine about this. |

| Old school Pokemon. I felt that after the second generation of Pokemon(up to 251), the new designs just got stupider and stupider. I do think that some from the newer generation look cool, but most of them are just laughably bad. |

| Old Pokemon, definitely. The new Pokemon MIGHT be better if they had some continuity. I realize it's a kids show but good grief. How is it possible that Ash has met like...every legendary Pokemon ever and he still isn't a Pokemon master? Or at least world famous. It feels like my childhood is in some awful limbo. And what ever happened to Brock being the best Pokemon breeder there ever was? Misty is the only one who actually achieved what she set out to do. I love Dawn. She's new and adorable. When I saw the first episode she appeared in, for a minute I honestly thought they had gotten rid of Ash and made her the new main character. Now she's not main character material, but god it would be amazing still. ...srs bzns right here. |

| I've only played Pokémon Red, it's a cçassic, I've beat it 7/8 times atleast. I never cared for the Pokémon anime, I watched the 20 first episodes and it was boring and repetitive, oh and the new Pokémon is still the same old s***, over 500 episodes and they all follow the same formula, can't believe Team Rocket still wishes to capture Pikachu. I voted for neither. |

I'm old school because I remember watching the premieres and stuff like this. I've been contemplating going on with Johto and stuff because I've heard it's MASSIVE with filler, which has distracted me from continuing, in addition to the American's dub cast being all switched around. It's kind of turned off my interest almost entirely. It doesn't stop me from watching/buying the movies, though, so I figure it's worth a shot. What's funny about this is that my brother and I were raised old school, and my youngest brother is pretty much a decade apart in age from me, so while my one brother and I name the old school Pokemon like it's nothing, my youngest brother really struggles. It's so weird. |
