This episode itself was sort of okay not great given the source material, didnt feel the tension ramping up and the characters weren't shocked enough. Exactly my thoughts! It can get better in the coming episodes though. |

| I'm kind of disappointed because they are kind of destroying epic moments of the manga in there attempt to make the whole thing last longer. In the manga a big chaos erupted the moment Pain invaded and started blowing shit up, while here this guys needed 10 fucking explosions to realize the attack and were slow as hell. How many things did Pain destroyed before Ino got to hear something? Really is ridiculous. Aren't they suppose to be ninjas too? You know be prepared and swift. My school during earthquake exercises reacted faster than this guys. Also i hate the whole stupidity about Jirayas message. "The real one is not there" and they know Pain has six bodies. Well WTF to you think it means you bloody fucking idiots? My 2 year old nephew could have discover it by now. And we have the supposedly smart guy with 200 I.Q wondering if everything is genjutsu by Konan when THEY HAVE A GOD DAMN BODY IN THE MORGUE. 200 I.Q my ass. Another thing that bothered me is the extra scenes that they usually put in the anime where some no name ninjas get killed like in the beginning when Pain killed those guys. Sure i don't expect them to last long but for fucking sakes at least try to defend your selfs. I ain't no ninja and i could have done better than that. Try to at least throw some kunai or something, and don't you even have one ninjitsu to try? Yeah they will fail completely but at least it won't seem so stupid when they get killed. Well now that i said that the whole Pain invasion is epic and could prove really awesome if they get there heads together and don't destroy the whole thing by filerih killing time scenes. It's not that the episode was awful or anything. I was frustrated because i was really excited about seeing this battle animated and the resold wasn't what i was hoping for. |
