I remember seeing one sign in front of a church that said, "Everyone welcome except Muslims." I also know that university places for minorities (Chinese and Indians, who are not only Malaysian citizens but also "truly Asians") are ridiculously limited. Goodness knows what else they're hiding beneath their facade. They do have great food, though.

Well, I could complain a long time about their Bumiputera benefits and religious tension, but the fact is, immigration has been a huge part of Malaysia's history, and when compared to other east Asian countries, the demographic make-up is much more diverse. It's one of the reasons why the cuisine is so mixed.

There are othe reasons too... like the rainforests, scuba diving, megadiverse state, etc. XD

I would totally live in Japan if I had the chance. My best friend right now is living there through an exchange program and he loves Japan. Besides, most of my interests originated in Japan XD

I'm from Ireland and am pretty surprized to see it mentioned a few times. Just be warned that it can be pretty damn expensive at times. T_T
Anyway I'd love to live in Scotland, its such a beautiful place. After that I'd love to live anyway thats cold. XDD

1. Japan for its culture and mass amounts of stuff to geek out over.
2. Canada so I can meet people I know over the net.

Either way, I just wanna get out of the United States pronto. D:

I live in the US. Despite issues we have, I love living here.
But if I could choose another place to live I think I would like to live in:
(top 5)
1. Japan
2. France
3. England
4. Italy
5. Netherlands

But England is boring D= ...don't get me wrong, I like (i live there), but it mostly always rains, i prefer large buildings like skyscrapers etc (also countryside - lots of it here) , and there isn't a lot of places like that where I live. I'd rather live in New York, or something. i like Canada too =)

England, Scotland, Australia, or New Zealand... considering English is my mother language, that's pretty practical. Plus I love the accents.

Otherwise:

Germany
Switzerland
Sweden
S. Korea or Japan
Hong Kong, China

Probably somewhere small, like a European country. I doubt I'd want to live in Japan just because I'm sure it would be awkward for a white guy deciding to live in Japan that is not for business purposes.

So ultimately, I'd probably rather go somewhere like the U.K., France, Italy, Germany, or Spain. Perhaps even Greece.

I don't mean to bash on Australians but I am utterly shocked by the amount of people who would want to live under an extremely authoritarian government that seems to ban things just for the lulz, a shitty internet connection worse than many 3rd world countries, and an island that's half desert and home to about every deadly and/or poisonous animal/creature in existence.

Obvious answer: Japan.

Seriously, why would you want to live in Germany?
The people here are mostly very unfriendly.. compared to a lot of other countries :/
(I've been to a lot of countries already and I live in Germany)
Everyone just minds their own business.. (of course, not always - but most of the time)
Most of them here think they're really cool by partying all the time and drinking/smoking. ~.~
