| What an adorable and brave dog. Bond's ability is so useful in this show to prevent diasters from happening. It's been awhile but seeing Spy x Family back is such a blessing. Great to see Anya, Lloyd, and Yor back too of course. Anya is still full of energy like the previous seasons. Even Fiona/Nightfall is back and she bought her fangirl mode with her LOL. Going to be a fun season for sure if they retain the vibes of the anime. Bring on more! |

| Always a treat when this series comes back around. Hard to believe we’re on the fourth cour already, and yet somehow, it feels like not much has actually happened. Then again, considering how little has gone down in the source material these past few years, I guess we’re right on schedule lol. That aside though, the kind of powers Anya and Bond have, it’s actually pretty impossible for any bad guy to do any bad guy stuff if they’re somewhere around these two and thinking aloud lol. Still hey, Anya casually saved the world and then decided to hit the books to broaden her horizons… you know, just your typical hero agenda lol. Loid and Yor really don’t have to make that kind of face though when Anya says she wants to study btw lol. Anyway, felt like a proper introductory episode. I know this series is mostly episodic, so it’d make sense but I’d rather if they picked chapters where at least part A and B were connected. Still I did enjoy the Nightfall stuff. Just yeah, Franky and she will never be a thing, even though I’ve somehow wanted them to be after this episode xD If that is OP btw, it's the weakest so far though. |
| After a 2 year absence since Fall 2023, mangaka Tatsuya Endo's Spy X Family is back, and the Forger family lore builds more depth than ever. As usual, Loid, Yor, Anya and Bond sure do like their family time together, but when enemies do come Loid's way, he's sure to bring justice to them, while Yor continues to be the assassin at home tormenting both Anya and Bond at best. Back to the manga content adaptation, the main character at play of WISE's spy Fiona "Nightfall" Frost along with Franky on their mission to look out for Sergei Ostosky, they did encounter a fair share of troubles dealing with enemies that belong to the anti-West faction, though surviving in one piece they did for a mission alright. Spitz's OP, compared to the past series' OPs, is a lot subtle, but still gets the job done with a different artistic choice. Still, more Spy X Family is great and more to come. |

| Back like we never even left, like seriously not much has changed and not much ever will, and that’s fine. That’s just the kind of show this is by now, grown accustomed to it at this point. Spy x Filler or whatever you’d like to call it-oh wait, the first half of this episode was actually filler? Man I can’t defend this show any longer dude like what the hell lmao. Uh let’s see, AD work is still as top-notch as ever I guess. What else, oh um A SHINGO NATSUME OP??? What kind of voodoo magic happened behind the scenes to get all these big-name people on board to make OPs for this show is beyond me, but yeah, a Natsume OP is actually crazy. Other than that though, yeah same old same old here, not expecting much tbh xD |

| That is as close from a mecha fight we will get in this series. Was the first part of the episode a cry for help from the anime production? An overworked worker. Nightlife Nightfall really hit differently. I guess even Spy X Family cant escape from dumb decisions from the direction and take a nosedive in OP quality. As ED would be okay, as OP whoever made the decision should be demoted. |

| Waku Waku to season 3. Anya & bond cute moments as usual while saving the day. Loid and yors facial expressions when anya said she wants to study priceless xD Then we got our little covert operation/"date". I loved it ngl. Franky going around flexing his new "gf" xD But in serious Fiona showing off her skills was cool as usual but Franky stepping it up not only saving Fiona but also leading them out to safety. My boy getting it done.  Ngl and i know Fiona is too hard wired for loid rn but i can see it, i definitely see it them being a couple. Maybe i have a new ship now  They have good chemistry and i like their dynamics too. Also them having same initials too? (jk i know i am reaching too much now) Anyways nice episode to start season 3 |

| Forger Family is back, stronger than ever! Edit: I didn't have the time to write a longer comment for this episode when I watched it, so here's the full thing. As usual with Spy Family, this episode ended up exploring 2 different stories in 1 episode. The first one was a bit more to reminding us of the antics of Forger family, and I honestly loved it, since I missed these 4 (including Bond) quite a lot. This anime still feels so fun to watch. Poor Anya, she saved peace in the world, but at the cost of destroying her own peace xD The 2nd part focused more on some of the side characters, Fiona and Franky. We got to see more of Fiona in action in one of her missions, since I think we only saw her with Loid once, if I'm not forgetting another mission she did, besides the tennis one. I feel like this 2nd part was actually important to build more these characters, and I wasn't expecting it, since Spy x Family doesn't particularly focus on that in these kind of episodes. I actually didn't know Franky was from the East, I always though he was from the West too, so exploring his motivations was quite interesting, and this information is relevant for the anime too. It seems next episode we are already getting a bit more info on Loid's backstory, and I'm super excited for that. Can't believe we finally have Spy x Family back! I was waiting for this for a while, and it was the anime of this season I was more excited for, and this 1st episode didn't disappoint. I remembered perfectly why I love this anime so much. And the animation for this 1st episode was so good too! They even made Loid sitting on that machinery look so smooth, which just makes some other anime jealous. The opening (shown at the end) is interesting. I like how the animation showcase a kid Loid and a kid Yor playing with Anya, which might be hinting to the story this season is going to explore, and it makes sense the song itself is more on the sentimental side due to that. However, not sure if I'm big fan of the song, it might grow on me, but I didn't really like it. Curious for the new ending that wasn't shown though. Anyways, FORGER FAMILY IS BACK! And I'm loving that we're getting this weekly dose of this wholesome show for some months now! |

| Idc what anyone says no one will ever convince me spy x family isn’t amazing. This was such a nice first episode back. Fiona screen-time too!!! I really feel bad for the overworked construction worker because dude genuinely just wanted time with his family. Good thing Loid was able to stop him before anyone got hurt, but for all her troubles, Anya gets rewarded with a Yor home cooked meal lmaooo. “Who’s going to save anya” poor thing, at least you know Yor made it with nothing but love. Speaking of love, great to start the season off with a Fiona segment. She and Franky’s little adventure was fun as hell, we need more of them interacting, it would be so cool if they ended up being an actual ship. She’s gotta stop being mean to my guy tho, he was willing to take a bullet for her! The animation during her fight scene was awesome as well. It’s also interesting hearing franky talk about why he’s helping the west. It’s not just because he likes them ideologically, he just wants to see his country prospering which is pretty much inline with how actual Cold War defectors would’ve been. |

The OP is great when you see Loid and Yor as kids interacting with Anya, and that will only get more impactful as Loid's story is covered. Anya leading Loid by the hand is like reconnecting him to his lost innocence. |
| This might be the only anime I end up watching this dry season, but I genuinely loved the first episode. The OP carries that nostalgic 90s vibe, and I’m totally here for it. |

Fiona Frost is voiced by Ayane Sakura who voiced Yotsuba from Quintessential Quintuplets! There was also the Code White movie that came out too right after season 2. 7:20 Yor and Loid protected them immediately π― 17:00 Franky got carried away π€£ I miss season 1 OP 2 “Souvenir” - Bump of Chicken π₯² My 7th Fall 2025 anime! | Spy x Family is finally back! Still my favorite comfort anime. Missed it a lot. Season 2 was 2 years ago. I'm surprised they don't pump these out more often. Yeah, not having days off is no joke. I understand the construction worker's pain. But taking his anger off on people wasn't a valid crashout. Good thing Loid stopped him. Poor Anya couldn't watch her anime even after saving the world lol. Didn't realize Franky and Fiona had never met. Franky x Fiona was a ship that I never saw coming. It kinda reminds me of Krillin and 18. I wouldn't mind if this ship sails lol. Also, Franky is from Ostania? Doesn't matter what his reasons are; he's a traitor. If he's ever caught, he'd be executed. I thought that OP was an ED at first. It's so different from the other OPs. I guess it's indicative of the upcoming story in this season. It looks like Loid will get a prequel episode next. Can't wait. |

| @jcadle Yeah, it felt off immediately (to a manga reader :D). It was indeed AO. No "mecha" terrorist attack/fight happened. Franky and Fiona part was AO too but done very well. Loved that part. I welcome their decision to go original here. As a 1st episode of the season, they did kind of a "re-introduction" of characters with this one. Looks like we're back to the source starting EP2. |

| oh man, I really hope this season has way more focus on the overarching storyline and less monster of the week type episodes. It was great to see Nightfall and Franky as a team-up tho. |
