| Some of us have been waiting for this prequel anime for ages and it's finally happening. What's the harm? You can just not watch it since it won't affect the ending of the main series anyway. MHA will end next year so Bones can make two or three seasons out of this show, It's a good opportunity to take advantage of the MHA ending situation, It's a smart move actually. |

But it sounds like you have a completionist problem, where you need to finish everything in a series you started, even if you hate it (that is the impression I'm getting, at least). I used to do that too until I started that Binan magical boy anime and it was so painfully bad in a boring way I decided I wasn't going to force myself to do that anymore. Time is better spent watching series I like than finishing very long ones I hate. However, if you insist on watching it anyways, you should be happy to know that Vigilantes is universally hailed as much better than the og series. The characters are far superior, the world building is much more in-depth, the story is much better... it is just a better story than the og series. It is like the Vigilantes' author took the good ideas of the og MHA, and refined it into the potential it actually has. |

Universally? Who’s we? I’ll give you world building because i mean yeah thats the purpose of the manga but everything else?? (Not hating on vigilantes, its just as good as mha imo)
| @sloth848 I mean, besides Endeavor, every character from the og series that appears in Vigilantes is far more expanded upon and better written in my opinion. Koichi is just a better protagonist than Deku and most characters in the series get far more development than the og. The story feels well-rounded and has a more satisfying conclusion, in my opinion (I don't hate MHA ending like some people, I just think it is lackluster). But yeah, perhaps "universally hailed as better" is incorrect. Obviously, not everyone will think that, but I have yet to find someone who just hates this series and thinks the og is leagues better. I guess maybe what I should've said is that even if OP hates the og series, it doesn't mean he will hate this series because most people love this series, even those who find the og series mediocre. |

dude, what are you even talking about? This has been put for years as a manga, and it's literally 1000x better than the main story. I hate MHA, but vigilantes is AMAZING. you should watch it when it comes out, or better yet, read the manga it's amazing.
