| It's been a long time since I watched it, but Nichijou was always my favorite. Some have come very close (Yuyushiki, D-Frag, Yuru Yuri, Danshi Koukou, among others), but I recently watched Joshikousei no Mudazukai and found it to be the closest for me. Might possibly have enjoyed it more but couldn't say for sure (like I said, it's been a long time). Personally I don't think there's much of a point in comparing them because at the end of the day if you got some good laughs out of it then it was worth watching. |

| Well there are plenty of good ones Saiki K Gintama Uramichi-Onisan as a more recent example Osomatsu-san which is massive in Japan Mashle Gugure! Kokkoru Chan Paniponidash Azumanga Daoih Sakamoto desu ga? I've not actually seen Nichijou but have seen some funny clips But I tend not to watch cute girl anime if possible. Honestly there needs to be way more gag male anime. (I plan to watch Play it cool boys soon) |

| Nichijou definitely is a great show and I still regard it as one of the funniest i've seen however i've seen a few shows that I think reach the same level of comedy that Nichijou did. Of course, humour is subjective so these might not be everyones cup of tea but for me they're very funny shows: Sakamoto desu ga? Handa-Kun Tanaka-kun wa itsumo Kedaruge The Working!! series I also think That one deer anime nobodies heard of is really funny (except ep 6, ep 6 was bad imo) but for me, Nichijou is better. Just remember to turn your brain off when you watch it lol. |

| only reason i didn't drop nichijou was because of the animation. otherwise i've found gintama, golden boy, panty and stocking, school rumble, and even osomatsu-san better. lucky star probably deserves a mention just for the lucky channel segments alone. |
