| They went for a more emotional appeal this episode rather than the usual goofy gimmicks. Ami showed a much more sensible side of herself. At least that's what seemed at first until the usual bath fan service and tropes. They kept this censored with the mists so yeah... Seems this show is taking a break from the work environment in these latest episodes though. |

| Man Ami and her grandmother meeting absolutely broke me at the start. That desperation to get her grandmother to remember her.. I feel so bad for anyone who has a loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia. It’s one of the cruelest diseases. Someone you have so many memories with right in front of you and they don’t remember you. It’s almost worse than death.. then the episode kinda went off the rails lmao You know what actually I’m kinda ok with Hayato being able to snap Ami’s grandma out of the memory loss thing. It’s obviously ridiculous and kinda deadens the impact of the emotional scenes, but hey I wanna see Ami happy.. also it’s INSANE that it took him yelling at the grandma and bringing her memory back for the doctors to confirm their diagnosis.. so she was just gonna die there basically if not for him The second half of the episode being so horny was a big tonal whiplash though. Thought this was going to be a tearjerker not a meat jerker. Could’ve gone without the fried bug eating stuff, but Shiragiku getting drunk and insanely horny out of nowhere never gets old. I don’t think a sushi roll is found between legs lmao. Did not expect Hayato to actually end up fondling Ami’s tits either lol, I really do like how he never gets super flustered or typical anime protagonist-y in these scenes. Literally only grabs them so Ami won’t feel bad or rejected. He’s a really caring dude. Next episode looks like it’ll have even more fanservice. Should be fun |

| That scene where Hayato imitated his gran when he spoke to Ami's gran though really was done well. Im glad that in the end Ami's gran was able to remember her. Eri had a surprisingly scary side to her though. The second inn that they stayed at though sure was quite the unique one. Guess scary stuff are Akane's main weaknesses. Think Ami went a bit over with her teasing near the end. But least her gran's condition was not as bad as she thought. |

I see some clues to that in the future scene from the last episode last season. Most people were trying to use hair color as a clue but that is meaningless with mixed dominance genes for hair color and hair dye available. What I saw was: 1. The daughter was having trouble in middle school. 2. Dad Hayato did the tutoring rather than mom. Two hints that maybe mom was not so bright. Still, nothing strong enough that I would put a wager on it. |

| And that's when Hayato became Jesus. Putting it nicely, it was a miraculous resolution, yet it feels like it lessened the impact of the episode. The fanservice-esque comedy bits on the other hand were slapping again. Ami you inexperienced silly goose still have a lot to learn. Girls love to fondle breasts too you know. I was right, oh god, it worked. Looks like Eri was a sukeban. That orphanage must've been rough and that toughened up Ami. They came to an Air BnB lol It wasn't Akane, Riho or Shiragiku who got him alone in the bath, but Ami. She teased him with her hefty boobs and he went for it, the feelings were mutual. | While I do agree with others here that Hayato curing Katsuyo of her illness kinda lessened the impact of the scene with Ami, it was certainly hard to watch since she worked up the courage to finally see her grandma and that was the response she got, but you also gotta remember the kind of show this is, no way would the goofy sexy anime leave things on a bad note lol, so I’m alright with it, especially with all the connecting to the past this season has been doing with the grandmas, Hayato appearing as his grandfather Masahiro was a great moment. It’s really making me want a spin-off of the grandmas now lol, and speaking of them it was this week I realized while the girls are dancing in the OP they briefly change to their respective grandmothers, a cool detail I just caught. But this episode wasn’t all seriousness, the “haunted” inn bit was a lot of fun with some good spooky bits as well as sexy ones, Kiku getting drunk is never not a good time, especially when she’s also fondling the other girls’ boobs lol. And speaking of boob fondling, we also got to witness Mao getting some yuri action in with Ririka, even if Ririka’s not into it I always appreciate a good babe on babe boob fondling scene. But the boobs didn’t end there, near the end we got that very nice moment between Ami and Hayato in the mixed bath, I was thinking we might finally get Ami’s entrance into the harem here, we didn’t get that but Hayato did actually get to touch some naked Ami booba out of respect for her, gotta give it to Hayato for not losing it there either lol, man has some solid composure. The censorship there was a bit disappointing but the scene still delivered some great fanservice. And at the end we were teased a bedroom brawl of the ages while Kiku is having quite the dream lol, hopefully we get to see this next episode and it wasn’t just a short after credits bit. |
| So it looks like Ami's grandma didn't have Alzheimer's after all but maybe a minor form of dementia or something related that isn't as bad. Regardless it did make the first half easier to watch as the 2nd half went back to what this series is more known for, girls competing against each other for Hayato's affection and with censored (unfortunately) fanservice. Regarding the girls and their "competition" so far, at least for this trip, Ami is is the winner as she got to sleep with Hayato and even got some time in the hot springs with him. Also, I recall Hayato fondling her boobs in S1 after she destroyed his laptop by dropping a dumbbell on it so this is the second time he's done this although I think this time was to appease her. |

| It's great that Ami's grandmother recovered and remembered her—it was such a sweet moment. But what's even more incredible is that Hayato was able to cure her Alzheimer's and even say the phrase that Ami's grandfather used to say to her grandmother, despite Hayato never having heard it before. I imagine it must have come to him in the dream he had. I don't follow the manga, but I know it’s still ongoing and they're still developing the potential winner. Honestly, I don't want Ami to win, but I have a feeling it will end up that way, just like in the anime Quintessential Quintuplets. Still, I'll remain on Team Akane, and the breast grope with Ami was appreciated. |

| A more serious episode this time around than all the others. Ami being the face of it. Yep, ya heard me right, Ami of all characters. Hayato with his stupid superpowers of just saying one of his dad's iconic lines just magically brings these old people to tears, and can even bring back your memory! Whatever, that house Hayato bought could not have been any more than like 1500 yen, with 1400 just being because of the hot springs included. Though, in the end, Ami still is that joke character, and she gets her oppai touched. Because ofc she does lol. |

| More typically one would suspect from life threatening but curable from surgery dementia, the most common type, from clogged or narrowed arteries constricting blood flow to the brain. I know several person who have had said arteries cleaned to restore or improve brain function, and personally know no one with other dementia cause. |

| Hayato curing Ami's grandma although unrealistic makes the whole scene great. Seeing Ami crying was very heartbreaking and glad that she got to smile at the end. Shiragiku getting drunk and causing havok will never stop being funny. This time also casually dissed Riho and Akane. Hayato took Ami offer like a Chad he is as always. Ami won this episode by some margin with her giving him a taste of hefts. Next one maybe the final episode of this trip. Looks like there will be more chaos. Riho do something girl it's your last chance. |

| @WaterMage The show has always been censored, but earlier on, there was much less use of steam and artificial light rays. As for the animation, it was never top-tier, aside from the episode done by Shaft. In Season 2 though, there’s a noticeable decline: more still frames, frequent drops in art style quality, and a decrease in high-quality frames, especially during fast-paced and busy scenes and close-up shots of faces with romantic moments compared to before. I liked the first season a lot more because of this and also the overall pacing and story of S2 is also relatively luckluster. |
| Ami finally gets her focus due to her dementia grandmother Katsuyo and wanting to reconcile with her, and she has a long battle long ahead of her. The gang going to see Ami's grandmother, and the granddaughter's idiocy doesn't make things any better...until Hayato stepped to the plate and made her remember her time with his grandfather, though that drops a bit of a bombshell on who will Hayato take as his future partner. That thankfully relieves Ami of her problems, though her older sister Eri sure has her episodes butting heads with her fellow sister, even burying her in the ground like an upside-down ostrich. Even better, is Hayato managing to find the girls one more night in an inn... ...and it's a run-down one of a cheap lodging that Akane has los of qualms with, with the opportunity for a mixed bath being the obvious case of the girls trying to one-up each other on Hayato. The weird things continue with boar meat and simmered locusts, and that raises Shiragiku to ultra heights of her perviness seeig Hayato's dick as sushi roll and even fondling the others' boobs lol. The clear odd one out is Ami being fine with Hayato in the mixed bath and not giving a care about it, though she's thankful that her grandmother was misdiagnosed. Still, she wants to reward him...with a boob squeeze, and Hayato being misconstrued, has to do the deed lols. Ami's the very definition of a chaotic good, and elegance, all in one. |

And now, she doesn't even seem the last one by a distance in the competition for Hayato. Why didn't he do research about the second inn they were going to visit? It seems out of character somehow. Shiragiku... oh no. |

@Sheol01 LMAO that innkeeper was hilarious. I love how her voice even turned menacing at times. It makes me think she makes a habit of scaring her guest as part of her inn experience. XD That aside I think Hayato and Ami are a bit too comfortable with each other, and Ami who seemingly has no horse in this race may actually be the one. The final scene this episode certainly drives that home for me. |

@LordCrueltyV Never heard of this. And no doctors brought it up about my Mother. But then the worst of her Memory Loss & other symptoms happened in her last year. Was quite fast. And complicated by pneumonia & Covid near the End.
