| This was an average season imo. 3-4 decent (7/10) shows and that's it. Spring will be much better and more stacked. |

| Well many series weren't as enjoyable as I thought so a pretty normal season. I believe the next season will be the same kind. For me it's like finding one or two really enjoyable series, out of like 20, which I could watch a second season of or jump to source material. |

| Better than any season of 2023. Spring 2024 doesn't seem super interesting but I'm not worried, every season has its fair share of anime that end up being good despite zero expectations. |
| I always go into winter with low expectations, so I was always going to be pretty easy to satisfy, but this is one of the better winter seasons in recent memory for me. There were a few disappointments, but I really enjoyed most of what I followed, and had some pleasant surprises. Spring looks good, like it always does. Lots of sequels that I'm looking forward to, and some promising new stuff. |

| Best shows this season are Frieren and Apothecary Diaries, which are technically follow ons from Fall 2023. Sign of Affection has been ok, and I'm enjoying Metallic Rouge and Delicious in Dungeon, but nothing really stands out. Solo Levelling has been a let down, just another generic over powered fantasy, but set in Korea not Japan. Spring looks ok, Mushoku Tensei and Konosuba will be good, plus you've got Date A Live and Spice & Wolf returning, but nothing new stands out, yet. Will wait to see if there are any hidden gems which get recommended by people, like Sign of Affection this season which I wasn't watching and only picked up after hearing people say what a good show it was. |

| The season isn't over yet... but I'm finding the season very weak. I think I picked the wrong season to increase the number of seasonals (~12). I did lower my expectations going into the season, and I tried to stay positive and optimistic, but none of the shows have been a must-watch. Now at the end of the season, I'm feeling more impatient and irritated with every episode. I'm looking forward to Spring 2024 a lot more, since there are shows that I've actually been waiting for. |

| I am satisfied with this season which is good seeing as the previous one was a let down for me. This season I ended up sticking with 12 shows, pretty much all of which I really enjoyed. Dungeon Meshi is by far my favorite and I am really looking forward to watching the rest of it as it continues to air. I didn't rate anything 6 or below so had a couple 9's but mostly everything else was rated 8 or 7. I also ended up dropping 8 shows, so there is that I guess.... Ore dake Level Up na Ken Mashle Season 2 Kyuujitsu no Warumono-san 30-sai made Doutei dato Mahoutsukai ni Nareru Rashii High Card Season 2 Majo to Yajuu Bucchigiri?! Kusuriya no Hitorigoto Undead Unluck Megumi no Daigo: Kyuukoku no Orange Dog Signal Sengoku Youko: Yonaoshi Kyoudai-hen...haven't watched enough of it yet to form an opinion on it. As for the new spring season there are less series I am interested in but that doesn't mean it isn't going to be a bad season also less shows that look questionable to me lol. There are 10 that I am really interested in and 3 I see as okay...maybe potential drops not sure yet. The 8 I am interested in are Kaijuu 8-gou Sentai Daishikkaku Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hashira Geiko-hen Kuroshitsuji: Kishuku Gakkou-hen Wind Breaker The Fable Tadaima, Okaeri Kenka Dokugaku Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai Boukyaku Battery Possible drops or might be ok Tensei Kizoku, Kantei Skill de Nariagaru Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi Re:Monster |

| Not many shows that I'd call outstanding but had more than enough shows to watch this season, so a very solid season overall for me. Spring season looks hyped to me, many shows I'd love to watch but maybe I need to lower my expectations a bit.. |
| Winter was quite a disappointing season for me. Worst since last Summer, with the diffrence that I watched more shows and had higher expectations. Actually the first time since Summer 22 (which was only my second season of watching a lot) that I have more shows at or below 5 than above it. On the positive side, most of my highly anticipated shows did not disappoint. Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete is exactly what I wanted it to be and more. Bucchigiri, while recently falling off, was a blast for it's first third. High Card continued to be amazing in it's Second Season, which I was quite worried about after seeing the decline of G-Witch and Birdie Wing last Spring. The one pleasant suprise was Yuuki Bakuhatsu Bang Bravern, which might actually make my Top 10. It's essentially all that G-Witch failed to be but with more comedy. As for the negative, Bravern really was the only suprise. While some shows performed decent as expected or even slightly better (Ragna, Snack Basue), most "might be good" shows ended up plain bad. Cherry Magic was a drag even after the BL drought and the first BL anime I really disliked. But the worst was actually my most anticipated non-sequel: Kyuujitsu no Warumono-san. A show that apperantly runs at 0.5x Speed with just as slow and boring of a plot. Spring still doesn't look too exciting, but I hope (and believe) it won't be as disappointing. There is lots of Sports and (potential) Yuri, which are usually safe bets. Ooi! Tonbo looks great from the trailer and both Kaii to Otome to Kamikakush and Shuumatsu Train Doko e Iku? have to potential to be really interesting mystery shows with good world-building. |
| Winter 2024 was decent. I really enjoyed Classroom of The Elite, Bottom Tier Character Tomozaki, Frieren, and The Dangers in My Heart. The rest was either average or disappointing. |
| This winter season was good for me, I didn't watch as many seasonals as other users did in this thread but the few that I did partake in satisfied me. I was pretty excited for more Classroom of the Elite + the surprise enjoyment I got out of Gushing over Magical Girls was welcome. Solo leveling wasn't exactly what I was looking for from that show but it's not over yet with 2 episodes remaining so I'm keeping an open mind. Frieren being a continuation, I did not keep up with it though I do plan on finishing it at some point. As of today I just started watching A Sign of Affection. Which has been good, nothing crazy but I didn't expect it to be either. The lineup I have ready for spring season is massive compared to winter so I can almost guarantee it will be a better season for me :) |
| This season gave us one of the best Ecchi I have seen in a very long time, so I'd say it was very satisfying. |

| It's a pretty good season for me. Didn't watch as much as last season but I also didn't drop anything and there are a few pleasant surprises. Next season doesn't look better to me; looks either the same as this season or slightly worse. Hope I'll be proven wrong. |
| Depends if you count Apothecary and Frieren as part of winter as well, or if you strictly consider them Autumn 2023 instead. If the former, then yes we eat good. If the later, then no, shows that started in winter didn't really have anything interesting to me. |

| I feel like it was a really good season. I haven't given a show a 9 or 10 since 2016, but I gave one show this season a 9 so that alone makes the season stand out to me. Plus I actually stuck with 7 shows to completion, which is the most for me in so many years I can't even remember. |
| I only watched 4 series this winter season but they were all pretty good/decent, a little bit above average at least I would say. Nothing that really 'blew my mind' this season though. But I have fairly high hopes for the upcoming season, partly because there are many series I plan to give a try, but also because most of them seem fairly original (concept-wise) or are just sequels I'm very excited about! |
| I had a handful of shows I enjoyed keeping up with this winter season soo I was happy enough Spring is looking a bit dire and while I’m happy we’re getting a little yuri it’s just overall not many titles are piquing my interest kinda sad because Spring last year was incredible |
| I've gotten two 10/10, a 9/10, and a 7/10 anime out of it so far, so I would say it's been pretty good. I kept watching too many trash shows, though. (nothing new) |

| It was an okay season - I would say definitely below average as far as if I'm judging all the seasons from when I began watching seasonals as or very close to when they were airing weekly, or in other words, all the seasons from winter of 2020 - present. All in all I watched/am still watching eight new series from this season (not counting series returning with second or later seasons, or series continuing on from an earlier season in 2023) - Meiji Gekken: 1874, Sasaki to Pii-chan, The Unwanted Undead Adventurer, Metallic Rouge, Dungeon Meshi, The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash, Isekai de Mofumofu Nadenade suru Tame ni Ganbattemasu, and Gekkan Mousou Kagaku. And none I would place above a 6/10 - at least one or two might be in 5/10 territory. |
