There are few things people should just leave as it is. These are those things you can’t do much about, and the existence of Koenji in this series is one such thing. Been over two seasons now but the guy is working with the same vocabulary and the same, “ I do I and you do you” way. Heck this time even his own team members have left him on his own.
Though that being that, and they doing the best they could despite somewhat lacking Keisei and the presence of people like Ishizaki, this team still held on its own, at the very least they all reconciled, to the point where the scoring areas they needed to give their best in… they somehow barely managed. But that is of minimal meaning here, I mean given the way studio adapted this whole part, there’s literally no meaning left to the amount of hard work they put in.
THEY ADAPTED THE WHOLE OF VOLUME 8 IN JUST TWO EPISODES… ONLY TWO FUCKING EPISODES LOL. I felt like I was watching a highlight reel, and that too only of the meaningful points this arc had… heck even not that tbh. They just randomly jumped to the Tachibana expulsion part without giving any context whatsover, just assuming the viewers have seen a dream about the same and are aware with the know-hows.... what??????
Then Manabu saved her and that's it. Rest is upto viewers imagniation. Anywas, I'm wondering how they managed to save a screen time for Ayanokouji and Karuizawa's, "If I was ever in that situation what will you do" thing. Who cares about shipping when you can't adapt the most basic things properly lol.

| Kiyotaka's group is starting to get along better. Yukimura, responsible for the group, bears a significant weight in their progress. On the other hand, Kouenji continues to evade responsibilities, but at least, he contributed something to the relay race. That boy is quite mysterious and clever; he quickly realized that Kiyotaka was the one who defeated Ryuuen. We witnessed the power Nagumo wields, nearly causing Tachibana's expulsion. President Manabu wasn't going to allow that, so he had to spend a considerable amount of class points. The streak of expulsions in the institute begins. I haven't read the novel or the manga, but in my opinion, this new arc progressed quite rapidly. Even new characters like Nagumo or events like the 4 tests were barely shown. It was somewhat dull. |

| well tbh i thought i wasnt that bad as some are commenting, the most importatnt things were adapted from what i remember, the scene with nagumo, the bonding of this group (yukimura, ishizaki, hashimoto, kiyotaka, etc.), the red haired girl looked good as well (im not remembering her name). What i dont remeber is if in the ln if we actually saw what was discussed between ryuen, hashimoto, nagumo and horikita. Also since lerche always adpats 3 eps per volume, that means maybe either volume 10 or 11 will recieve an extra episode for a more fleshed out story, so i dont complain tbh. |
| Be Koenji. Wake up at presumably 5 in the morning for training. Run 9km up a hill through a forest. Climb a mountain. Jump down. Wrestle a boar for fun. Dude is playing an irl RPG and put all his points into "Sigma grindset" Good thing you can just buy your wait out of expulsions because getting thrown out just before you graduate in this kind of annoying school must suck. Curious Naguno chose to openly act like an asshole, way to paint a target on your back. |

| i feel like a lot was cut and not shown and i haven't read the ln either. eh episode overall. i wish they would explain things more, give more screentime to certain stuff so that it becomes more engaging. it is like they just want to adapt everything asap and they don't care if it is enjoyable at the end. |

| Lol I find it kinda of stupid that you can get expulsed on purpose and choose someone to be expulsed to even though you can stay if you pay, well at the end they both lost money but in the victim's case it's only one guy who's paying :S I dance to the ending. |

| I guess the brain game is the focus for this anime after all, I just checked the notes I had for the presequel that I finished watching... Not sure what I had in mind before but apparently it was fun watching the s1 and s2 for me but somehow not this season. Is anybody else feeling the same? Not in the mood for the brain games anymore? haha |

| Koenji can do anything, from climbing up a mountain, to killing a boar by his own strength. But in all sense, he will not interrogate Ayanokouji on his elaborate plan. Nagumo may have his eye on Ayanokouji, and that's why he needed Koenji's help, as those of his own dorm's people had their small talk with Yukimura and him hoping to soup everyone up together in this mixed training arc to score the best they can. In the midst, Ayanokouji sensing that Class B's Ryuen is plotting something, though it's hard to decipher what they're after. The day of the 4 tests, and as expected that the Marathon was the hardest binge. But the true kicker is Class 3-B's Ikari Momoko's group to take Akane Tachibana out to be expelled, utting a dent to Manabu's plan. It's clear that Miyabi Nagumo is going for the kill, and he spends his own class collective points to save her back from expulsion. Even in the same situation, Ayanokouji would not let Kei be expelled, though this is only the very beginning. Yui Ninomiya's ED is serviceable, though the weakest of the 3. Volume 8 really ran in a flash in 2 episodes, that's insanely fast to finish off one of the worst volumes in the series. Forget about decent adaptation now, it's going for intensity all the way. |

| a boar right away, Kouenji is one of the characters I admire. jumping off the cliff this guy is crazy. I wanted to see him running, it must be fast, not as fast as Albert. Anyway, it started to feel tense with the tests, Horikita was good in the game, he's trying really hard But it's tense for him. |

| Well, it nice episode. Their bonding was bit weird if you're thinkin about them being in competitive schools and all. Also, I am not sure guys are attached so easily to the weaknesses of others... so it was a bit weird, even if cure. Wall... the blond annoying guy (forgot him name) is really a scum. Should die. But why would all sencond graders would bid to his will? So lame. Also, I am surprized Suzune's reactions to her brother's decision wasn't shown. I mean, what the hell? She thinks so highly of him and has zero opinion? |
