| oh, that Frieren head-rubbing scene is so much more powerful in anime form. I wasn't expecting anything on these few chapters before the next big arc. and, it hits hard if you're an adult. |

| The best unspoken confession I've seen so far, or should I say a proposal? The ring scene between Frieren and Himmel was beautiful. I repeatedly watched it.. Great timing with the latest manga chapter. Also love another Fern and Stark moments. |

| So many really sweet moments between characters this ep. I actually was legitimately worried for Frieren losing that ring the instant it flew from her hand and kept thinking there must be a spell for that to help and hey there was hah....I like what Heiter said since I feel like that must be true of all people they never really change that much ........I wish I was worthy of Frieren's praise |

| They're freaking engaged. At this point, I'm convinced Frieren and Himmel got married and Frieren simply hasn't realized it yet. It's cute how Fern got angry over Stark forgetting her b'day. |

| My god this episode is soo beautiful. The last minutes we're amazing. I was literally saying Himmel knew what it meant, our boy is the goat! The action of this episode is top tier fs. The comedy too, Fern and Stark moments are perfect, poor Stark getting called an idiot because he didn't knew what the Mirrored Lotus is. |
| A#1 Peak. It doesn't get much better than this, friends. Downright majestic. Breathtaking Himmel ring thing - whew. The relevant birthday fern-stark story is fabulous. |

| Himmel was always giving love declarations to Frieren and she never noticed it. It was a slow episode, focused in Stark and Fern relation and comparing it to Frieren and Himmel one. The discussion about "how to be an adult" was awesome. We never get mature enough, we just pretend it. |
| Another wonderful episode! I pity Stark for Fern's troublesome expectations of him but in the end, they get to make up and that's what matters! Frieren's ring's background story was also wonderful. Himmel and Frieren would definitely be an item if not for Frieren's overpowered denseness. 😔 The priest didn't get that much time but that's okay IF he can stop smoking. 😑 This is definitely somehow more romantic of an episode. I need more! |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Yo, my boy proposed to Frieren after their 10 year journey only for his love to not be returned due to Frieren being dense AF but now it seems that his feeling are starting to get through her even though it's already far too late for he has passed on already |
| In the Raad region, Stark and Fern had a fallout because he forgot her birthday, as did Sein. But both him and Frieren agree that she went too far berating him, and this forces Fern to find Stark, though she herself is at the age where she didn't know how to interact with the opposite sex, even so when getting a gift for his own birthday. Sein wanting Fern to make up with him, she understands fully and takes his advice to apologize to him, which they make up together and get her gift together. Honestly, these two are made for each other, which to Sein, is exactly the episode's title: the Privilege of the Young. But the Heiter that both Frieren and Sein knew, despite being the same person, was of different temperaments, which he has spent most of his post-adventuring life raising Fern up, and Frieren's headpat were a way of maturity. Further down in the Bande Woods, the party taking a trip to the next down in a carriage, Frieren found the ring that Himmel gave to her (which the design looked like the ring bracelet Stark took 3 hours just to read her mind) but at the expense of an avian monster concealing its mana and taking them up to the skies. Though calculating their free fall was defintely a free shot that cost them the carriage, needing materials to fix it. The bracelet which has the mirrored lotus design, he didn't know that it's a sign of eternal love, though Fern would not expect the idiot to understand either way. The days pass by hunting animals and sleeping at the same place for days on end, and soon the carriage is repaired. The ring however, is missing, and that's important, and thankfully the merchant as a spell for finding items. The thing is, Himmel probably knew what the mirrored lotus meant, and with the ring, he proposed to her in a way that she wasn't expecting, though like Stark, she's also slow on the uptake. A literate romance shipping fanservice episode for manga fans, and now anime fans added into the fray as well. |

| Another incredible episode from an incredible show. The opening scene was phenomenal with the monster taking the carriage to the air and the fight that ensues. Fern and Stark see some development and later Frieren takes to the air over a forest to search for something important to her. Over this forest Frieren begins waving her staff to cast a location spell and as she's doing so she is remembering a time back with Himmel. As Frieren's finishes her casting you can see how preoccupied she is just by the look on her face as things concerning the memory dawn on her... this was painful, but beautiful to watch. Phenomenal show; emotionally impactful, very relatable and engaging. |
