| Why is the anime giving Sanji his old Duvalesque wanted poster? Lol I love the crews dynamic on board of the Sunny. It's been way too long since we had it like this. Pretty much exactly 10 years since the whole crew was on their way to Dress Rosa along with Law, Kinemon and Momo. Even longer if you just count the official members on their own. The new Yonkou don't make an all too glorious impression either. Buggy's expressions killed me. Cross Guild is probably the coolest thing that happened in recent times. My man Croc is finally making some big moves again. The new drip is fine. Feels like the color scheme was inspired by Jinbe's from Wano, I mean the purple and orange. |

| Yep, it was evident from the beginning that the Buggy situation would unfold as a misunderstanding. That has been the trajectory of his bounty development since the beginning, tbh. Following their departure from Wano, the Straw Hat Pirates swiftly obtain their updated bounties. Simultaneously, over at Karai Bari Island, Crocodile and Dracule Mihawk employ Buggy as the symbolic head of the Cross Guild, settling the scores for his previous obligations. In the precincts of New Marineford, Brannew engages in discussions about the bounties and leadership of the Cross Guild. Lastly, at the Revolutionary Army's headquarters on Momoiro Island, Koala and her comrades achieve a successful reunion with Bartholomew Kuma, all while receiving a communication from Sabo. Who would have thought that Buggy's own facade would backfire so dramatically, especially at the most inopportune moment. That poster truly offered no assistance whatsoever. I anticipated a scenario where he would merely serve as a proxy for Crocodile and Mihawk, but I underestimated his limited involvement in the actual creation. Poor clown boi. Weird that they kept the OP + ED, given that we've moved on from Wano-Kuni. However, I suppose it'll stick around until Egghead officially begins in January. |

| not a huge fan of Nami being abusive, and they managed to keep the animations high quality for this episode after wano. Berries are revealed, but goddamn the directing for this episode isn't good for me. I find it kinda pointless with the cross guild, though. Buggy is always feeling helpless as he gets all these attention and praises loool |

| nami conquerers haki goes crazy lol. luffy's 3bil bounty shot was jokes. chopper bounty still a violation. robin just short of a billion. franky got done in with the pic of sunny. zoro's digits 1111 and ahead of sanji again. Buggy D. Goat ain't beating the Buggy D. Fraud allegations. mihawk and crocodile actually running the scenes for the cross guild. wano is over but the adaptation is still top notch. |

| Buggy's back! I've been watching the dubs during the week while working and just got to Impel Down. I can't help but wonder how the actor in the live action would play those scenes now. Cross Guild has been introduced. I didn't understand in the manga why Buggy was made Emperor over Law or Kid since Cross Guild hadn't really done anything yet, but I get it now. it was the potential considering Crocodile & Mihawk's involvement. The next few episodes are going to be wild. Gotta admit, Chopper's temper tantrum made me laugh. I could swear that the last time we saw Sanji's wanted poster, it was his real face. Jimbe pushing him down to number 4 and Franky not being on his poster at all was funny, too. |

| New bounties revealed and I'm happy Robin is being recognized as the threat she truly is. She may not be a gifted fighter but her ability to read the Poneglyphs and all that knowledge that she carries in that brain of hers makes her arguably a bigger threat than the Straw Hats' most formidable fighters. Buggy stays being a meme and continues to fail upwards lol. Dude is pretty much leader in name-only of Cross Guild. He was funny as hell in this episode 💀 |

| This episode just reaffirmed why I don't like Buggy. He just isn't entertaining to me post-TS. On one hand it was good seeing him being abused by stronger pirates, but it still annoys me that he gets the Yonko title over Mihawk (or anyone else, really). He doesn't deserve it. And while I find slapstick comedy cringey, I don't see why people dislike Nami beating Luffy, especially in this episode considering that he once again did something stupid in the last episode that could've gotten the crew killed? |
| I love these Bounty episodes. Everyone got an impressive boost! Classic Buggy keeps on failing upwards. Even if he's a figurehead, Buggy now has a larger bounty than Luffy! |

| So happy to finally see the bounty increase of the Straw Hats starting from the lowest to the highest. It was also funny especially the banter between Zoro & Sanji. xD Buggy's misfortune is comedy gold. :'D Every time he's on screen, I couldn't stop laughing. xD And Buggy's got a higher bounty than Luffy's bounty too, lol. Two former Warlords are now Executives under Buggy's command, but that last scene with Buggy crying for his life sealed the deal. xD |

| bounty reveals are always one of the best moments in one piece and it's extra nice to see this one in the anime finally. cross guild and buggy's new status is also fun to see again |

| @5hadow17 Presumably she was given a lower bounty than Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Jinbe because she's not as good of a fighter as they are. Although Oda's always been really weird with her bounties; he only increased it by 1 million after Enies Lobby despite Robin's survival being a huge detriment to the WG. I know that pre-TS bounties were generally not as high or inflated as post-TS bounties, but she deserved to be worth at least 200 million after Enies Lobby imho. |

The Bounties are given based on the amount of threat the person is to the world governament. Especially Mihawk, who himself was known as
" The Navy Hunter ". He is much more of a threat than Buggy. Also they mentioned his swordskills pass that of Akagami, and we can't forget the history between them.
Altough I'm still not Sure why Robin's bounty hasn't even crossed a Billion, since she can decipher The Poneglyphs.

To me, this doesn't warrant the bounties shown. Like, is this the first time in One Piece where the Captain/Leader didn't have the highest bounty? IMO, this is just Oda's way of hyping up Mihawk even more (a fan favourite and a real mystery character). I like his new bounty myself, but it just seems oddly inconsistent and a rather strange decision. And as you said, Robin not having one of the highest bounties in the world feels quite off, and almost confirms to me that Oda doesn't give too much thought to these arbitrary bounties. It's been a fan favourite type of thing for 20 plus years, why stop... |

| Nami is absolutely not to be trifled with in such rage mode, as we have seen often enough in the past. Nevertheless, it is and remains incredibly funny how Luffy, even as a new emperor, often finds himself in a similar situation to Buggy due to his sometimes reckless actions lol. Since Jimbei obviously had no idea about this kind of "relationship" within the crew and even interpreted Nami's anger as Color of the Supreme King, it only made this scene even more hilarious. I mean, how often do you see such a scared look on Jimbei's face, right? The fact that only one yard of the Sunny broke after such a deep fall speaks again for Franky's skills as a shipbuilder and shipwright. Tom would definitely be proud of him. The reveal of new bounties is always one of the most exciting things for me and each of our Straw Hats received a huge boost. Unfortunately, poor Chopper is still viewed as just a pet. While it may only be a small consolation for him, it should be noted that, in percentage terms, he actually had the largest increase in Berry among the crew. Nami, Brook, Franky and Usopp all experienced a whopping increase of 300 million berries. In the case of Nami and Usopp, this of course caused an immense shock. By the way, what happened to Franky's photo and why is the Sunny imaged instead of him? Because of her ancestry and the fact that Robin is able to decipher/read Poneglyphs, I had already wondered whether she wouldn't receive a significantly higher bounty at some point. Especially after the defeat of Doflamingo, it was rather disappointing that her bounty only increased from 79 million to 130 million. The current 930 million seems much more appropriate, but the world government still seems to continue to underestimate her value. If we leave out Luffy since we already knew about his bounty, everyone within the Monster Quartet has now reached a value of over 1 billion Berry, which is really crazy. With Jimbei joining, Sanji unfortunately now has to settle for fourth place, which Zoro of course had to rub in his face in his typical manner. Like in the case of Franky they also re-used this strange photo for Sanji which is so weird lol. All in all, this means that the entire crew now has a total bounty of 8,816,001,000 berries, which just shows once again how far we have come over the years. The transition to Buggy's current position and what is "actually" behind the Cross Guild and its creation may not have surprised anyone particularly, but it only made this already very funny episode even better. I had almost assumed that Crocodile was approaching Mihawk, since Mihawk is actually someone who works alone and wants to enjoy a peaceful life. Nevertheless, this collaboration should serve him well, as the fall of the 7 Warlords and Buggy's rise to emperor undoubtedly took him somewhat out of the spotlight. Personally, I love seeing that Mihawk and Crocodile still play such a big role at this point in One Piece, and it will be interesting to see what impact their future actions will have on the world. In general, I had always wondered what the bounty would be for the best swordsman in the world. 3.59 Billion is absolutely insane and once again highlights his incredible strength, even if we've unfortunately never been able to experience it to its full extent. 1.92 billion also seems very reasonable to me for Crocodile, as his devil fruit is incredibly strong and such a pain in the ass for anyone who has to face him. The fact that Buggy, with his 3.189 billion bounty, now towers over even Luffy, Law and Kid, drifts into sheer absurdity and confirms, as always, what a troll Oda can be. If Buggy keeps this up, he really will become King of the Pirates lol. Overall a very entertaining and funny episode. It seems we'll be making a trip to Amazon Lily next week. Should be interesting the see what happens there. |
