So glad annoying blonde dude is dead lol I'm surprised Sukuna's destruction didn't reach any other sorcerers or curses |

Production issues is what it is. But whoever decided to put the OP song during Itadori's meltdown is a clown. Showing Nanami for the sake of having a cliffhanger every single episode just ruins the whole thing. By that point we already know he is going to not end well. Why cant it just end with Itadori?
| @Nycro because it adds more chaos to the feeling of destruction, yes it was destructive but barely anyone important was involved other than yuji have a breakdown, the nanami scene showed us that sukuna running around was a tragedy, it adds to the despair. Imagine crying over cliffhangers, do something better in life man, its just next Thursday anyway, teasers don't ruin anything. |

| this season has really been magical, I leave every episode with my jaw on the floor; I thought the last fight would've been the best this season but wow this episode left me speechless. I don't even want to know what is going to happen to Nanami after that cliffhanger though. |

| The animation esp as the season progressed does leave much to be desired, even moreso for a series such as jujutsu kaisen. There are some decent scenes this season but the inconsistency is somewhat of a killer. Edit: Forgot to add but I hope the animators receive better treatment from their studio. |

| Megumi being trained by Gojo, which both Gojo and the Zen'in clans are in dispute, that was a realistic thought. But while the exorcism ritual of Megumi summoning the Eight-Handed Sword shikigami easily outmaneuvers Shigemo Haruta, Sukuna saves him out of trouble, he still needs them both for his plan, but to face Makora and defeat it first. The relentless battle between Sukuna and Makora with death-creating animation and destruction (theoretically extending the fight from the manga) is phenomenal, and the former has to activate his Domain Expansion: Malevolent Kitchen to contain the blast outside of Megumi's range. When Yuji is reverted back to his self, Shibuya's destruction is unprecedented (giving rise to the eventual Shibuya Incident), and that's how he knew that he was going to be executed if he doesn't keep things moving. And Nanami is still alive...somehow. MAPPA may be dogshit, but its staff (and ESPECIALLY the animators) worked their damnest to deliver this episode BIG TIME, and somehow by luck against all deadlines, it shows. |

| It's crazy how I'm being forced into liking Sukuna with how much sauce he's getting in the anime. I swear, I didn't care that much about him in the manga or before this season began but now he's just shot up to my top 3. |

| How much are the animators selling their souls to do this, because geez that was amazing in terms of visuals. Unpolished for sure, but that's kind of the identity of Season 2 so far, minimalistic designs with fluid animation. Reminds me of Mob Psycho in a way with the choreography. Loved all the colours and the overall direction. Now to the bummer part of all this, as this might be the "peak" of the season, and it could go downhill from here, as I'm sure many of you have heard already with the whole situation with MAPPA. They'll do everything they can to crawl over that finish line, and it won't be pretty. Whatever happens, happens. The animators deserve everything, not the studio. The nitpick that I have is definitely the decision to play the OP during Yuuji's breakdown. Silence would have been perfect there to give more of a gloomy, bone-chilling atmosphere. Otherwise, the same issue remains, in that I personally don't really care too much about the story at this point as its mostly just epic fights. |
| Damn this episode looked so rough. You can see the effects of the dogshit schedule given to animators by Mappa. It looked horrible. |
