I liked the animation I just hated how the story was too episodic where I was just watching an everyday life story of violet and feels like it has no coherent plot and the characters were so bland I couldn’t give a single crap about them and the writing really wants to tell me cry now which is so fucking cringe

I just have different opinions on stuff because I just want story quality not how good the show does and no I don’t hate demon slayer I find it mid but enjoyable and I can’t say anything about spy x family since I didn’t watch it nor plan too

Drama? More like forced drama neither of the characters were interesting, unique, or likable and the plot is in crutches

itll probably be easiest to start with one that isnt much effort to play, so probably one off of Steam that you dont need to patch. Fata Morgana would be as good a place to start as any, I suppose

methods differ depending on what vn you want to play, some are just there on steam, some you need to pirate because they arent officially sold or licensed, you have to patch a lot of them, and so on. I'm pretty new to that medium myself, but if you have any questions I'll try my best to answer them

ah thats why. makes sense. I mean, there are plenty of new gen shows with substance to them, and plenty of old gens without. but yeah there is definitely an abundance of older shows that are more complex. and vndb is just a place to score visual novels, think mal but without the social part.
