| As the Fushiguro father and son were about to fight their own battle, the realization of Sukuna's Fingers meant that Megumi had no chance whatsoever to fight against Toji, as Panda seek out Gojo after his sealing. The risk of Megumi running short is very real, and that's at the cusp of him growing up without his father, who abandoned him to the Zen'in's and proceeded to kill the apparition of himself. Despite the grievances between Geto's followers, they all have one goal in common: to defeat the Jujutsu sorcerers. But all of this pales in comparison to Sukuna and Gojo's fight, which is a total mayhem of guns blazing and a strength so great, it can pulverize one another, as Sukuna did to Geto, and he controls the playing field with style and substance. Even as to go so far with a contest of firepower, in a dazzling state of mind, Jogo is no more as Sukuna praises him for his work thus far. Savage Sukuna, along with animation bested episode by episode. |

| It's getting really jarring how the backgrounds seem to get all the budget - lighting and shadows, textures, clutter and overall detail - while the actual characters can barely even pass for cardboard cutouts. The motion/movement is mostly great, but this weird lack of balance doesn't help making it enjoyable. I'm not quite convinced by the fires either, we've seen better in KnY. |

| Damn, you could tell they had to cut massive corners for this episode. The first half was full of super low quality models and dialogue still shots. Thankfully the fights still looked good, mostly. I hope the animation team can keep up because the fights aren't ending any time soon. |

| It was a good episode overall and I'm happy to finally see one of my favorite moments of Shibuya animated (Sukuna vs Jogo), but overall I'm still slightly disappointed with the episode in itself mostly a result of the bad production schedule. The animation was fine for the most part, but there are definitely moments in the episode where you can tell the staff didn't have the chance to touch up or improve what was produced by that point due to the deadline (which was most likely this morning knowing MAPPA's history). Still, due to the content that was adapted, it was easily one of JJK's best episode from the past 2 seasons. It's a damn shame that the staff couldn't get a decent timeframe to adapt this arc in its entirety and are for that reason forced to cut corners in areas that aren't deemed a priority for this medium (linework, character designs, compositing, etc.) I'm still enjoying the adaptation so far, but it could've (and should've) been so much better than this. Ghosting and dimming is just the cherry on top of the disappointing sundae. Suits + capitalism ruin every industry and product they touch, all in favor of corporate greed. |

| Jougo seemed much stronger in his fight against Sukuna than with his fight against Gojo. He deployed enough fire power to bring down half of Sibuya. So I wonder why he didn't pull such stunts against Gojo too. That lady at the end who greeted Sukuna does not appear to be from pseudo-Geto's group. She's probably someone he knew ~1000 years ago, presumably in reincarnated form. A fun episode overall, though the battle between Jougo and Sukuna was way over the top and occasionally animated sloppily. Why so many poor and highly blurred/twisted in-between frames? I wonder to which studio MAPPA outsourced in-betweens this time... |

| It felt so shoooort, but it was sooo goood. I hate dimming, the colours weren't even that bright to deserve this. A few slides are really sloppy art/animation-wise but it carried and delivered. |

| Gets a 4/5 from me. It was very good, don't get me wrong, but I don't think the change in art style was that good. Shots and cut oscillated between beautiful, good, okay and very rare ugly ones (e.g. 15:13 mark, when Sukuna is rushing at Jogo inside a dark building). Of course, all that inconsistency is mostly obfuscated by insane choreography, acting, soundtrack and the events themselves that unfolded. Really hyped for episode 17! |

| The Sukunda part was pretty cool, this anime needs to forget everything else and focus on Sukunda. This Toji thing was one of the stupidest things I've seen this year, thank you. |

| Mappa seems to be burning through their budget faster than Jogo did. The animation itself for the fights was really good, but the character designs and some other less important scenes took a nosedive. |

| This is the only Shibuya episode that didn't feel lethargic, therefore the one I enjoyed the most. It's the best animated and storyboarded one, but with shitty art and compositing (yet pristine backgrounds throughout, oddly enough). The lack of polish can mainly be attributed to MAPPA's inhuman scheduling for this season. For the most part, S1 has had vastly superior art and animation. 4/5. Sukuna vs Jogo is easily the best fight in the arc so far and among the best in JJK. |

| This was easily better than Episode 13. Rivals episode 5 of Mob Psycho II. Also amazing storyboard that utilizes several bits of the background for more depth in the visual storytelling. 11/10 and seeing JOGOAT go out in a Blaze of Glory was amazing |
