What is your favourite/preferred looks for your male main character in anime?
| I know the appearance of male MCs can come in various factors such as their dressing style, personality, clothing, fashion sense, and overall body appearance. For this poll alone, we will divide it into five categories which will include trap, bishonen, ikemen, bland design and gigachad design. Overall, what is your preferred design for your main male character in anime? If you want to other stuff outside of the poll and please feel free to comment in this thread. |

| Only good thing on Femboys are mostly on Doujinshi No comments on Bishonen since I haven't read manga or watch anime that I found interesting or stuck on PTW that I will never watch Voted on this one and I like my men good looking with 5% body fat like from Saitama from One Punch Man. Hypermasculine kinda looks like a stereotype of an antagonist's henchmen or supporting character nowadays unless if it was on 80's-90's (Jojo and Fist of the Northstar exception is Helk). Bland Design is very underdeveloped art like its the same thing all over again |

| Bishounen > Ikemen/Femboy/Bland > Hypermasculine Probably something like that. I can easily see myself preferring a bland MC over ikemen etc., it all depends on the particular character. The reason for hypersmasculine being at the end is because such characters are usually the least aesthetically pleasing, while bishounen guys are usually the most aesthetically pleasing in contrast (but not necessarily always). In any case, if some character annoys me, his looks won't save him lol |
 I really like overtly hyper masculine main characters, or characters in general such as Archer, Guts or Goblin Slayer.  I also have a soft spot for cute Femboys such as Astolfo or Felix. It's actually hard to choose between them, but if I had to I think I fall more on the GAR side due to them looking generally way cooler and me liking far more GAR characters over Femboys. |

| I think I like all of them except bland design, however I chose hypermasculine purely because of Dark Schneider, literally the personification of the ideal anime mc. Dark Schneider, the best looking mc  And in the bland design department we got the worst looking mc, Michio Kaga himself  |

| Cute males aka "femme" boys are the BEST. I love Astolfo and Felix, Astolfo even more because he's a strong character with a lot of background story. And Felix is more cute wearing his uniform than a dress, but cute rules over all, I don't like body hair or muscles, not even on myself. Most recent discovery was Ensemble Stars and that's full of adorable goodness, my fave from that show are Tori (pink hair) and Sora (blond)- and all the members of the group Ra*bits in Ensemble Stars incl the boy who leads them who actually split off from another group. I do like masculine men in a lot of anime though, but I look at them more as leaders, and I'm a more passive type that would look toward them for protection and find that attractive in a way but don't idolize it. Edit: I actually like what you're calling "bland" characters too, the generic LN male protag (like Kirito) are often very cute and likable. I used to have Kirito in my faves until he got replaced by these bros Tori  Sora  |

| Bishounen/Ikemen are the best and the more of them, the better. Not a fan of Kirito looking mcs but I can live with it. Femboys and Hypermasculine looking (such as the men from Baki) dudes are gross and a massive turn off. |

| Femboy - my nether regions are confused. Ikemen - to many reverse harems, I got PTSD. Hypermasculine - nope Bland - yeah not a fan of the copy-paste & recycling thing, but can't help that it exists. Bishonen - my pick, not the best, but it works. |
