No matter where they are, how they get there, there's some evil spirit.

It's like Eiko is a magnet for evil. Unfortunately, it looks like the house and the spirits there has Eiko in their plans. Episode had some creepy moments again and Eiko's reactions were pretty natural.

That was... unsettling. It's probably for the best that Keitaro didn't participate in this one

Eiko and Yayoi decided to buy a suspiciously cheap detached house to use as a storage space for cursed objects and graduated students. The house they headed to for a viewing turned out to be the dwelling of an evil spirit that cast the 'curse of pregnancy'... and now, a sinister force is closing in on Eiko.

This story continues to make new horrors that haunt my dreams. I assumed at first that this was just a minor mission, but evidently, it remains as grave and horrifying as ever. A malevolent specter embodying an infant theme is troubling on its own, but the inclusion of such a twisted backstory only compounds the horror. It's truly chilling. Though the father and daughter may have been influenced by the articulate corpse in the wheelchair, but they seem far from salvation at this point. Geez, Eiko's haunted stomach gave me a queasy feeling in my own gut. Next week can't come any sooner.

Best episode so far imo. This shit actually gave me goosebumps.

As soon as I saw what happened to the police officer in the previous episode, I called what would happen in the next one.

Successfully preying on the darkest aspects of pregnancy - which can, commonly enough, cause serious harm for mothers - this episode delivers one of the creepiest stories so far (bolstered by a tragic and deranged family tale).

Our beloved yandere got some sweet motivation during the episode's lightest sequence, which she'll need to use to fight as hard as she can against the Angel - and possibly something else.

Dark Gathering's consistency has been commendable and words are starting to run dry for me to describe how much I adore this anime!

Was that Ghost played by Ueda Reina? Last Tunnel Ghost was voiced by Yoshitsugu and the waterfall one was voiced by Hayami Saori. Damn they are bringing top casts for the Spirit Roles

Man this episode didn't pull any punches, Eiko's getting rekt these last eps instead of Keitaro between the tunnel story and this one, the father daughter story was disgusting but sad, wonder who were those spirits that proposed to them to make an angel

NGL this got to be the scariest episode yet.
So much disturbing shit and a lot of RE 8 baby scene flashback XD
The studio is getting better at drawing those disturbing scenes and creating atmosphere in the later episodes.

@sasahara_n It is horror tho. Can't expect to be scared for life in an horror anime, it's impossible, the best an horror anime can manage is to give creepy vibes and make you feel a sense of discomfort.

Damn that's some pretty fucked up stuff the father and daugther pulled and it looks like that same priest was behind it who made the castle ghost go mad with the hand.

The UFO doll ghost is badass AF. (maybe this is where it will power up?)

This episode definitely earned the spot of being closest to Halloween than the others, a very freaky situation we got here. It’s very unfortunate what happened to the family that used to live in the house, but what was once a happy and normal family became something straight out of hell when the daughter went off the deep end with those rituals, even raped her dad man, that’s wild lol. And of course you have the grossness of what happened to both the daughter and that police officer, an absolutely terrifying and grotesque way to die, and I really hope Eiko isn’t on her way to the same fate.

And speaking of Eiko, oh my lord she has been through it these recent two arcs lol, she was initially creepy but now I’m just really feeling bad for her, that was a primal scream at the end there, very gut wrenching, props to the VA for the amazing job but damn poor Eiko lol. And outside of the spooky stuff we did learn that Keitaro has two younger sisters and a younger brother we haven’t seen yet, they have cute designs and unfortunately for them I’m betting they’ll be relevant at some point lol. And lastly, the ripped skeleton graduate being used this time is pretty epic, those “angels” stood no chance, that’s a Deadhead who’s been to the gym lol.

And although spooky month will be over next episode, the spooks won’t be going anywhere anytime soon, definitely looking forward to the next one!

Eiko giving birth was fucking horrifying my God. Perfect episode for Halloween. Definitely one of the most disturbing DG episodes to date. She can’t catch a break, definitely time for her to stay in the car lol. If she’s the designated driver fine, but she’s like princess Peach at this point. The tunnel, the lake spirit and now this.

This was by far the most gruesome episode. Not only because of the terrifying looking spirit with its eerie design i.e. "The Angel" but also because of the sheer shocking circumstances which are frightening to even think about that led to the creation of the aforementioned "Angel" all for to seek salvation. It was truly gut-wrenching but at the same time very interesting to watch.

Eiko getting an illusion of giving birth to "The Angel" in the most painful and unimaginable way possible was the highlight of this episode. Props to Kana Hanazawa for Bringing the life out of the character.

This episode was sooooo good. I genuinely got freaked out twice, after Yayoi stopped Eiko from drinking the water and while Eiko was having the hallucination, absolutely terrifying. The consistency in the second cour has been amazing so far. Kudos to the studio and the mangaka.

It is also satisfying to see Eiko getting what she deserves for putting Keitaro through so many dangerous adventures and she is also the reason he became cursed! Is she still into horror things now?!? The freakin' psycho!
