| I do love Kaguya-sama, but I imagine that's going to get recommended a bunch. So I'll suggest some of my other favourites, Golden Time, a college romance, and White Album 2 (you don't need to watch White Album 1, as it's completely standalone). I also really enjoyed O Maidens In Your Savage Season, which I watched recently. |

| Pure romance, i'd say Please Teacher. It's got some nostalgia for me but it also does a lot of things differently. Like how the main couple is together from the beginning and not till the last episode. There's little ecchi. Plus the topic of sex is actually discussed and couples in the show actually do sleep together. Which is great as so many anime involved chaste characters. |

| Off the top of my head i'd say i really like the romance in Steins Gate and the Wolf Children even though they are not really romance anime. The best romance that i can think of right now is kaguya sama: love is war. And if you're looking for romance manga i have got a suggestion for y'all: it's a really dumb ecchi romance but the male and female lead are so straigtforward that it is very refreshing. It's called Do Chokkyuu Kareshi x Kanojo but be aware there are quite a lot of mature content in it. It is absolutely hilarious though. |

| If it's for the romance, my personal favorite is Nagi no Asukara. Next is Ef - a tale of melodies (should watch Ef - a tale of memories too). For anime with romance, my favorite is Clannad After Story (need to watch Clannad first), although I mostly like it for other aspect, particularly the family theme. |

The writing of the main couple's relationship is so wholesome and the great art & sound quality really support it. 2: Kawaii dake ja Nai, Shikimori-san I mostly love it for the relationships between the six friends, but the main couple is really cute aswell. 3: Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto Desu My favorite Romance Drama. A very good representation of girls struggling with their feelings. 4: Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-San! This one is really funny and has a great and relatable progression for the main characters and their relationship. |

(My Love Story!!) - Wholesome shojo romance featuring an big and ugly but super sweet male MC Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru (My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999) - Similar to Ore Monogatari in that it's a super cozy and wholesome shojo romance Mikakunin de Shinkoukei (Engaged to the Unidentified) - Great supernatural arranged marriage romcom. Funny and cute. Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko! (Tomo-chan Is a Girl!) - A pretty ordinary osananajimi romcom. Mature heart yet easygoing. Misuzu carried the show. Koi wa Sekai Seifuku no Ato de (Love After World Domination) - Fun, cute, and wholesome shounen rom-com where the hero and the villain date in secret Astarotte no Omocha! (Astarotte's Toy) - An admittedly disturbing premise, but otherwise a very cute and fun rom-com Taishou Otome Otogibanashi (Taisho Otome Fairy Tale) - Iyashikei-type historical rom-com-drama, shounen demographic |
