| Masamune made that difficult decision to go back to the past, to his home all those years ago. To top it off, it's on such an important day too. It looks like he could never forget from his past. Yoshino and Aki also had a heartfelt moment, probably the most important one between them all season. |

| With Makabe and Aki broken up, what's left of our hero Makabe? Following last episode, Makabe and Aki break up. The following day he skips school without permission. Worried, Yoshino, Fujinomiya, Tae, and Kojuurou visit his house, but Makabe is nowhere to be found. They learn that he went to Shinshu, where he spent his childhood eight years prior. On the way back, Aki has a minute alone with Yoshino and chooses to leave their "master and servant" relationship for a heart-to-heart. They think about the events so far, but the discussion at that point turns to talking about Makabe. Yoshino direly denies her sentiments for him. However, encouraged by Aki, she chooses to go to Makabe. Meanwhile, Makabe is alone and thinks back about the events of eight a long time back. Watching Makabe burn that chocolate felt oddly symbolic to me. What he said afterward intensified the impact. It seems like a Yoshino ending is almost certain now, huh? I was holding out hope against all odds for Aki to come out on top. Is there still any chance of that happening? Well, regardless, this episode leaves me echoing Makabe's sentiment - empty and frustrated. With one episode left, it's clear who the winner is. |

| Mas is doing a vanishing act huh. Looking at it now Mas's house sure was pretty spacious. The mother really is a bundle of laughs though. Things between Yoshino and Neko though sure erupted badly. The heart to heart between Aki and Yohino though was nice and long awaited. I see now why Aki did what she did. Mas's convo with his old self was actually pretty amusing but showed well how much he's matured as a person as a result of his bond with Aki and his friends. The question though is whether Mas would accept Yoshino's feelings. |

| Unless we get some extreme bait and switch, we might actually get a Yoshino ending which is something I'm completely okay with. I'm glad we got some honest heart-to-heart talk between Aki and Yoshino which was something the second half of the show desperately needed. Yoshino really needed to be honest with her feelings way sooner. Lying to everyone won't make anyone happy. Including Masamune or Aki. |

Though the bait is so fucking obvious that I can't even pretend, "oh, who masamune would choose, im dying with this tEnSiOn cause theres only one episode left... oh jesus". Just put an end to Yoshino drama once and for all, no one's here to buy her redemption. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE. Anyways, just a week and we'd be free. |

| I just can't take this seriously with the mom crying and rolling around like that lmao 9:48 Fujinomiya usually talks in an awfully polite manner (as if talking to a customer or a lord), but here she switched to her home dialect which before she sometimes would only use in one phrase at a time. (I feel like this sentence isn't worded properly) 15:23 Season 1 OP! 16:52 And the ED too! (I had to read the credits at the end to get this one) Daaamn Yoshino thirsty I feel like the animation quality jumped up a notch this episode. Nice. Good episode! Finale next! |

| Masamune really just had a Thors/Thorfinn moment with the no enemies talk. If only Yoshino actually won, I don't believe she has won for a second. |

| Just at the height of the moment, Aki's rejection to Masamune...sure feels injected through to his mind, body, heart and soul. The break-up certainly was the Cruel Princess's revenge of getting back at him, which displeases Yoshino the most because although she was the catalyst that started the rift between the two. Therefore, Fujinomiya and the rest going to see Masamune at his house, though things didn't take a better turn from here as Masamune fled from home, back to his grandfather's house in Shinshu. That left them with nothing to go on about, though to Yoshino, Fujinomiya's plan worked out for better or worse, and then again, the former isn't spared for leaving her feelings aside that she really loved Masamune as well. Aki coming at the right time to spare the rod between them, goes for an honest face-to-face chat together, while Masamune goes back to his old ways, A proper conversation between the Cruel Princess and her personal attendant, Aki has known all this time that she has feelings for Masamune, yet Yoshino still continues to deny that fact. The understanding is that Yoshino wants Aki to be happy. but her happiness is decided by herself, and being with Masamune more feels like she's betraying Aki's trust. But with the Aki's release of Yoshino, the last request to relay her true feelings proper to him, feels like a godsend. Masamune seeing a vision of his old self, and he has the Thorfinn "I have no enemies" moment of understanding that finally felt like a heavy burden was lifted off his shoulders. True enough, Yoshino came looking for him, and with no words, just went for the kill with the kiss. Even after all this while...the manga ending is to be expected, I don't even think that there will be a sliver that the anime will change the manga's ending all this time. The drama has been overblown since Season 1 all those years ago, and next week's finale will end the back-and-forth farce between Masamune, Aki and Yoshino. |

| It's a bit sad to see Makabe going as far as to not go to school and even leave home and stay with his Grandfather in the countryside just to get away from it all, although I can't fault anyone who feels like they need to take a break from the chaos that has happened so far. Either way, things did heat up between Fujinomiya and Yoshino after them and the others went to Makabe's house to find out what happened to him. It certainly added to the drama with how both girls threw accusations at each other for being at fault for what Makabe has done. At least Aki chose that time to arrive and defuse the situation before having a heart-to-heart chat with Yoshino, which was definitely needed. Masamune having a conversation with his younger self did give me Vinland Saga vibes when he said he had no enemies, but that thought went away when Yoshino finally reached him, looking exhausted after her long travel to get to where he is, before running into his arms and kissing him on the lips. What an interesting way to end the episode, I have to say. =) I "would" say that I'd look forward to seeing how the last episode will wrap things up and while I still feel that way, I do kind of wish some people would learn to use the spoiler tag properly if what they're typing up in their messages is actually true or not. =/ |

| I am really happy with that scenario and plot that yoshino has closed her feelings for makebe for aki that she can be happy but wow yoshino really is so cute she jumps him in the arm and they end with a wholesome kiss. |

Another emotional roller coaster of an episode.
This is just ... gah! I can't believe the one who emotionally damaged him is the girl he might end up with? How? She still can't bring herself to stop calling him Pig's Foot, even knowing how traumatic the term is to him, I mean wasn't that the entire reason for his Revenge plot? Not saying Neko is any better for her behind the scenes manipulation but this is just ... at this rate I'd rather he be alone than with any of those messed up girls. I can't believe it because I've never been fond of her, but as of this episode, Aki is actually now the "best girl" in terms of maturity and behavior. |

| I am really angry on Aki, on one hand she is saying she is going to love Masamune even if he hates her the point is that she is saying she loves him very much but on the other hand she abandoned him like he is nothing to her and tell Yoshino that she can have him like what the fk is she thinking. |
