| Damn, this episode felt more like a battle for survival against time. Glad to see Miyazawa getting some spotlight since he hasn't been featured much this season. Reflecting on the event, this was quite a clever plan with deadly consequences. Miyazawa himself also faced a dangerous fight this episode while Atushi struggled. I'm impressed by Miyzawa' performance tbh. |

| Fyodor's ultimate trump card ends up being Chuuya of all people, in a fairly ironic twist. Now Dazai has to go up against his former partner in order to survive Nikolai's prison death game. Meanwhile, at the airport, the Agency is having a tough time with the Hunting Dogs again, and it's pretty clear that Teruko is up to no good. I have to also mentioned that I really liked the little video recording by Tachihara. He was well aware that his confrontation with Fukuchi would be a suicidal one, yet he still went for it. "Maybe I'm finally getting closer to being an exhilarating badass." That you are, Tachihara. |

| Happy ball lol what a name for a max security prison section. Impressive physical security though. Aya was such an excellent character to bring back in. To think that Fyodor would summon the mafia's grav specialist as his backup. Tachihara's last message to the vice captain sure is going to be one hell of a game changer but thats something that can go both ways as well. |

| Another insane episode from start to finish. Dazai and Fyodor’s prison death game is getting underway while things at the airport are intensifying Kinda messed up they vamped my boy Chuuya off screen lmao. He been getting done kinda bold lately by the series. He and Fyodor vs Sigma and Dazai is going to be an interesting match up. Was not expecting that to be Fyodor’s trump card. Dazai casually dancing with Sigma while a life or death situation is going on, typical Dazai. Tachihara went out like a hero. He definitely became an exhilarating bad ass in the end. Sadly that still isn’t enough to convince Teruko 🤦🏽♂️ that little smirk when she got Atsushi to turn his back to her didn’t look good at all. Suehiro says he doesn’t have time to chat, yet spends like 10 minutes talking to Kenji and cuts him off right as he’s explaining why Bran is important lmao. Convenient. Wonder who will come save Kenji next episode since Suehiro is totally overpowering him |

| And the name of that ultra-mega-giga-riba advanced prison cell was "Happy Ball"... this has to be the MOST incorrect phrase or title with "happy" in it. Though back to the point, GOAT surprised me when he picked Sigma as his tool to escape out of the cell, but hey like ever he's never wrong.. as there came FUCKING Chuuya OUT OF NOWHERE, and he a VAMPIRE TOO!!! It fucking hurts that we cut straight back to Aya and Bram's side of the story just when hype reached the roof, though hey the way things played out at that end was something in itself too. Those hunting dogs are no people to trust, I mean Atsuhi might see this firsthand next episode, again. Episode went by in a flash though. |

| i missed kenji. glad to see him again but not glad to see him taken down. i get it's because of the page but it's just so frustrating that the hunting dogs won't even try to listen to the detective agency. im not even caught up with the manga but because of spoilers i know what's been happening, and im so scared with how close this is to where the manga currently is. we won't have another new season for like 4 years after this<//3 |

| A life or death situation and Dazai is carelessly dancing and craving sweets. This dude is such a goofball lol. But damn, Chuuya got turned into a vampire offscreen and is now going to be used as Fyodor's trump card. This just made the prison survival game more interesting. Bram and Aya is still such an odd and unexpected pairing, but their dynamic is fun to watch. It's all about survival for them too, trying to escape the airport while Kenji holds off the enemy. Too bad Kenji got packed up, and meanwhile, I'm wondering what Teruko has planned based off that slight smile we saw while Atsushi was calling Rampo. Surely Tachihara's video wouldn't convert her that easily. |

Whaaaat the hell is going on? How did this episode literally end in 5 minutes, and with all those cliffhangers that should be illegal, really!
So many favorites showing up, half of them are vampires, things are going to hell in a handbasket, I still have no idea how they're going to get out of this situation, but I can't wait to find out more. This has been by far the best, most interesting battle of wits / mastermind plot going on out of all the seasonals in Summer 2023. Only Undead Girl comes close. Fantastic. Cannot wait to see the next episode. |
