| Rukia is still the same Rukia as I remember after all this time. Of course she's also targeted by the enemy, and a creepy one at that. Rukia vs Nodt has been a fight I've been looking forward to though and he's no pushover. Not going to lie, Nodt's personality took the cake this episode. If you thought he was creepy before, then this episode amplify it all the way. It was still amazing to see Rukia use her abilities this season. Just incredible. |

| Ichigo with his brand new and insanely drippy clothes making an appearance in the very first minute of the episode itself ready for departing from soul palace to soul society was the best fucking start. I thought they’d still take their time but no… HE’S COMING BACK! Yhwach the so-called father of quincies is messed up and so those people who follow him, I mean there really was no need to stomp people so mercilessly just because they were defeated lol. Though again, we’ll see that story next time, for now since Renji’s over with his course last episode, it was the turn of his partner, Rukia, taking the stage. As Nodt being the creepiest of the creepy out of the bunch, and coincidentally being that same person who stole Byakuya’s bankai last cour, was the perfect opponent for Rukia to go up against. That dude loves to talk shit about fear this fear that but couldn’t stand his ground against Rukia’s Sode no Shirayuki… until the flashback triggered and he literally recalled his “true” fear, and became somewhat of an even BIGGER monster than he was already. That eerie series of events with Rukia then was.. yikes. Must say his VA Matsuoka did a great job in bringing out the utter creepy shit out of As Nodt, but being a bad guy, first dude got interrupted by Byakuya and then by Rukia’s BANKAI… HAKKA NO TOGAME. Rukia’s bankai looked fucking G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S and that was it for As Nodt in the end. Best episode this cour. |

| Indeed, Rukia has indisputably outshined Hitsugaya in terms of her superior ice power, and the gap is quite significant. After an agonizing four-week wait, Ichigo, our valiant protagonist, has made his triumphant return! Following his rigorous training at the Royal Palace, Ichigo wastes no time and immediately takes action upon learning of the Exterminator's invasion. Descending towards Seireitei, Ichigo establishes contact with Urahara, reaffirming his determination to confront the threat head-on. In the midst of these unfolding events, Hushwald, responsible for escorting Uryu to the execution grounds in Ginkakujo, coldly carries out the execution of the defeated BG9. This grim act leads him into a contemplative discourse regarding the enigmatic nature of Yhwach's existence. In contrast, confronting As Nodt, Rukia boldly sways her sleeves before the looming "dread." Remarkably, my memory of As Nodt from the manga didn't make such a profoundly unsettling vibe. The anime certainly delivered on this aspect, particularly during his transformation into a zombie-like state. His evolution seems to push the boundaries of madness even beyond Mayuri's experiments. Byakuya's discretion in not overshadowing Rukia's triumphant moment is a relief. He astutely recognizes Rukia's strength and gracefully allows her to revel in the limelight. The visual spectacle of Rukia's Bankai is truly captivating and left me in a state of sheer wonder. The graceful simplicity of her Bankai, showcased through her pristine white zanpakuto and the resplendent white kimono, stands in stark contrast to Ichigo's dark zanpakuto and black shihakusho. This juxtaposition creates an engaging yin-yang dynamic that's fascinating to observe. As Ichigo returns to the forefront, what will await our main characters? |

| They definitely didn't hold back on showing the creepy factor that surrounds As Nodt's character, this felt like some psychological horror movie shit. Things weren't looking too great at first for Rukia until the GOAT Byakuya finally made his return. However, this wasn't his spotlight to steal, as he entrusted the takedown of this Sternritter to Rukia herself. Boy, her Bankai was beautiful. I notice that ice powers in media tend to be portrayed with some kind of royal gracefulness, and that was on full display with Rukia today. She looked like a snow princess after using her Bankai. Peak Rukia this week, RIP to As Nodt, and let's not forget, OUR BOY IS ON HIS WAY BACK. |

| Not sure how I feel about putting the end credits over Rukia's Bankai, but it was still pretty cool. 5/5 However, I am kind of starting to see what people were complaining about a while ago, about how most episodes are just a series of still images with voice-over and very little actual animation. |
| Jesus, that was terrifying, I wasn't expecting that creepy tone. It felt like a horror anime for a bit, I recommend watching it with headphones on. As Nodt VA delivered everything with his performance. And Rukia Bankai may be the prettiest in all of Bleach.  PEOPLE ARE NOT READY FOR THE NEXT EPISODE THO, seriously. People. Are. Not. Ready. |
| Rukia still shows after all his time that she's the best girl. I love her so much. She looked so pretty and her Bankai was so beautiful. Her fight against Nodt was so good. He was one creepy mofo ngl. This episode even took it to another level. Incredible episode. Indeed the best episode of this season so far. SO GOOOD. |

| I was not expecting this to be just as badass as The Fire adaptation from last season. Holy fucking shit, they nailed every second of this episode. Coming next, one of the craziest and most absurd fights in the series, and personally the one I'm looking forward the most to. 5/5 |

| I loved Rukia's Bankai but, mechanically speaking, may be one of the worst Bankai's, like Shinji's doesn't look like separate friend from foe, and have the danger of killing the user. A ice glass cannon, if I may. |

 Dare I say, Peak Fucking Fiction. Easily the best episode of this cour yet, and a top 5 TYBW episode for me. This fight was even more beautiful than Unohana vs Kenpachi. So far, it's: Born in the Dark > The Fire > The Blade Is Me > The White Haze Unless this cour adapts Ichibei's fight (which I doubt and would like for them to save for the next cour anyway) this is probably the highlight of The Separation for me. I know Kenpachi's battle and Ichigo's return are even more anticipated for most, though. Rukia vs As Nodt has always been one of my favourite fights in the entire series because As Nodt is my favourite Sternritter, the dialogue and his character dynamic with the Kuchikis is great, the abilities displayed here are among Kubo's most creative, and the interaction between As Nodt's Fear Manipulation and Rukia's Absolute Zero is ingenious and thoroughly engaging. I have a knack for seeing busted abilities thoughtfully counterbalancing each other, so one of my favourite things about the final arc is how the power system leans towards more hax and abstract/esoteric abilities (which is thematically befitting, as the Quincies see themselves and are portrayed as a higher class of elite soldiers compared to the Shinigami and Arrancar). The staff absolutely nailed every aspect of production here, and flawless episodes such as this and EP6 + 7 of the first cour are why I appreciate their smart resource management. So glad they did As Nodt's terror justice; special props to his voice actor. All the episodes are already audiovisually beautiful with pristine direction, but then you have the main courses which display state of the art animation alongside those pre-existing strengths. 10/10 episode, and it's gonna get better from here. As we close Rukia's character piece, Ichigo blitzes his way into the Seireitei. The Moon fades whilst the Sun rises. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
