| The Third The Girl with the Blue Eye is the only one I know of with a narrator and it uses it expertly for exposition. You won't hear the characters thoughts, instead the narrator describes what a character is thinking/feeling while they are fighting or moved by the night sky for example. It's an anime about atmosphere you see and it nails that aspect. |

| Cant think of many shows that I really like that even has a narrator. Love is War was (7/10) pretty good but I'm not a fan. |

| I remember some works with narrators that appear punctually in previews or specific parts and that have very good vocal performances and/or dialogues. The epic, storytelling style of Shingeki no Kyojin, voiced by Marina Inoue, draws a lot of attention, as I also have fond memories of the narrations of Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin and Made in Abyss. However, my favorite narrator, and also the one with the most significant role on this list, is Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji, played by Fumihiko Tachiki. By the way, he is the same Seiyuu who did the narration for the previews in Golden Kamuy, and I really like his vocal performance. |
