| Recently watched Call of the Night, I was surpised by how good the OP and ED are. I don't usually love or replay the songs from anime's openings or endings but those two tracks are soooo good I love them and the visuals are really interesting. My favorites are Toradora's Pre-Parade, Chunnibyou's Sparkling Daydream and Monogatari's Platinum Disco |
| Man, SO many good ones. Lets start with more modern anime. Fire Force's first OP is better than the entire show (not that I dislike the show or anything). Both Demon Slayer's first OP and the entertainment district arc OP go hard. Chainsaw Man, of course. Any of the BNHA openings. Death Parade, for sure. Kakegurui as well. If we're talking classics, my favorite will always be Code Geass's first OP. Death Note's is definitely up there too, as with NGE, of course. Cowboy Bebop as well. These are all a given. A less obvious pick from an older show would be Baccano! You Lie in April is old-ish and it's first OP will forever be iconic. Assassination Classroom's first OP as well. Soooo many to choose from. |

| I mention this one in the forums a lot, but I have to go with Jungle wa Itsumo Haré + Guu, as well as Kamisama Hajimemashita. I never skip the opening on these. Another one is Death Parade, their opening is pretty good. And if you're wondering what the best ending song is, it has to be Karneval, 100%. |

| How do you mean fire? I guess Fire Wars as featured in Mazinkaiser, fire gets mentioned a lot, plus the intro credits feature a ton of fire. It is also pretty great if you ask me. |
| Rating these based on the full version of whatever anime opening, not considering the video. A lot of anime will have a really good opening, but only the first 1:30 of the song is fire, and then rest is kinda meh. Or some you realize dont even have interesting music but were only exciting because of the visuals. Anyway, here are some of my favorites no one has mentioned yet- -Platinum End -- this opening had no right going as hard as it did. -Tokyo Revenger S1 -Concrete Revolutio S1 -Beastars - Kaibutsu -Hacking to the Gate - As far as anything that is more than 10 years old, this is one of few that still hold up without relying heavily on nostalgia. |
