| Because anime girls designed with the non concealed intention of making them cute and appealing with the help of emphasizing human features that seems to be considered cute by humans (like big eyes, small noses etc.) if somebody gets used to the aesthetic they could seem to be cuter. But your question is as misleading as if asking whether actresses are more beautiful than the average women. Yes of course because they are selected for their looks in most of the cases. |

| I mean technically anime girls are cuter & better looking but, just like you, I prefer real life women over anime girls any time. Something about anime girls I find to be weird looking. They look attractive but I don't feel attracted to them in sexual sense the same way I feel about real life women. I also found myself preferring anime girls who look closer to real women in terms of facial features & body proportions. Example, I find Satoshoi Kon's way of drawing women to be much hotter than anime girls with over the top cartoonish face & body you see in most anime. Also the thing with real women is that they are real. They have their own personalities, their own attributes, their own perfections & imperfections that make feel unique. Anime girls feel like a product to me. Something created for the soul purpose of being perfect & attractive to attract customers to buy merch. |

Goes along with getting the character to appeal to a viewer and immerse them in whatever scenario the anime whips up, whereas designing a character with more realistic physical features being more likely to break that illusion to the audience if they're looking for that escape from the harshness of reality. |
