This series has been great. I'm also really interested in knowing what happens if they confess their sins. If they do let them go to heaven rather than hell if they confess, does this also reverse the deal where the person who pulls the string go to hell? Hope they will dive in to that in future episodes. A backstory behind the whole operation would also be nice.

This show is getting old very fast. I'm already tired of this formula.

I feel bad for Iwashita, his family is just the worst not defending their son when he said he didn't even do it. I felt that Hanagusa's punishment was really light I wanted him to suffer more. Iwashita was very unlucky he doesn't deserve to go to hell :(

Man what was wrong with that guy.... didnt even remorse for the death of a person who he led to die........... and everything was framed on the protagonist damn. Again his life was ruined, he could've ended up in the prison for the crime he didnt do so hell girl is the only option.
The execution wasnt the best tbh like when the car rolled over multiple times how didnt he immediately die? unless it was all an illusion.

Wow this episode sucked. I'm suppose to believe that just because someone is a douche that they wouldn't feel bad killing someone? If you want me to actually believe that you're going to need to give me a good reason on how someone could turned out that way and not something as stupid as not wanting to play in a tournament. This episode made me roll my eyes more times than I can count.

Well, same message. However, the quotes about baseball by the death gods part was good. However, bullying is not cool, and neither is tolerating it.

I dunno if just the plot being repeated is gonna work. If that happens, this might just as be a slice of death anime.(Pun intended)

Look, there are bad people, and they deserve to die. That's okay. But, try to extend the plot universe by explaining the evil behind everyone's intentions or what happens in the afterlife or stuff like that. Using the same Hell Girl Chariot sequence is kinda boring. We need some plot.

Anyone remember one outs?

Without change,we end up becoming the very person we hate.

I was dead until the moment I met you. I was a powerless corpse pretending to be alive. Living without power, without the ability to change my course, was bound to lead me to a slow death.

Ooooh. I can see it too.

I'm starting to think that if the jerk would have just confessed, Jigoku would forgive him? Look, why are those three always asking the wrong-doer about their mistake? And if the wrong-doer didn't confess. Ai would appear and drag him/her to hell.

Yeah, I was wondering whether if when they ask him "Do you confess your sins" and he answers "Yes" they would let him go...

the culprits have always 2much bride and i think ur right if they had sinisterly regretted and confessed their bad deeds she would have propably cancelled the contract, 2bad they never show it though

I still feel like the guy got screwed over. He still had to transfer schools even though the pitcher's guilt was found out.

He also didn't get punished enough.

Good episode, but I have 2 questions. What happens if the guy that's about to day actually admits that he was wrong. I also saw that the death scene is different in every episode. So this one didnt have the red tree and all Ai's "family" gathered there, talking with the victim. Im interested as to how this is going to continue.
Also, I swear I heard Sasuke's VA in this episode. And Zetsu?
Come on man, where is that Noragami season 3 masterpiece. We want it, Bones!

Compared to the themes presented in the other two videos, this case was not as bad as the others and seemingly is more an extreme take IMO. Now I don't know if something like that can actually happen, I wouldn't doubt it's possible, just seems unlikely. However the ending here still feels really sad and I don't think Iwashita gets a good ending (ignoring the fact he will pay for this by going to hell) since he has to move away. Seemed like in the other episodes everyone just kind of ignored the person who was sent to hell.

Was an alright episode. I think, also, as things go on, you're probably supposed to get closer to learning Hell Girl's origins, so I'll stick with it. Although, I also like the horror vibe and the characterization abit, so that keeps me watchin too

rewatching this now. I remember this was the episode where I almost dropped the show cuz how formulaic it was. glad I didn't though

it just occurred that the gossipy girls always show up and mention Hell's Correspondence with such impeccable timing... they must be Ai's advertising agents

I've come to understand that Ai provides them with a terrifying preview of their Hell punishment, prompting the characters to contemplate it more deeply. In this case, Iwashita saw himself impaled. Ouch. Yeah, it is kind of episodic, especially since at this point we know what Ai's next lines will be. Oh well, we'll continue to watch.
