| It doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'd typically prefer them to look younger rather than older. As for a character seeming as if they don't match their stated age however (or their age which we find out through reading background info, source material, etc.), I actually find the issue is more the other way around with some characters' visual design looking too old for their stated age. There were many times when a character was said to be at the end of middle school/junior high school or a first year of high school, so usually either 14 or 15 years-old, and to me their design matched more of how I would expect a 20+ year-old to be portrayed (or very late teens at the minimum). |
| I honestly find it stranger then the 1000 year old loli. Someone who is supposed to be just a normal adult, but looks like a kid, is stranger then some immortal being that looks like a kid, or a kid that looks like a kid. I mean, it's not something that bothers me really, just of the 3 types, its the one that I like the least. |
| Generally I don't place too much emphasis on a character's physique. But Komoe-sensei from "A Certain Magical Index" is different for me. Although it's more about her child like personality and being gullible that makes for some peak comedy moments. Komoe could be depicted as a grown adult and I'd still like her, as long as the behavior and voice is the same. Index is supposed to start some comedy skits in the series but I found her just plain annoying. Touma's interactions with Komoe or Misaka is where the comedy in that series shines. It was hilarious when even the ruthless, gruff and unsociable Accelerator as well as the literal child Misaka Last Order were bewildered when they first saw Komoe-sensei and thought that Academy city finally found a way to reverse the aging process. I don't care about the morality brigade calling everything in sight as being sexualized. As long as these lolis make me laugh, I am down with whatever. That's why I also love Maria and Kobato from "Haganai" as well as Yamada Aoi from "Working!!". My new favorite though is the 1000 year old idiotic demon principal of the school in "Jitsu wa Watashi wa". For her comedy to work, she does need to pose as a student though not a loli. |

| I love lolibaba characters like Oshino Shinobu and Hachikuji. Anime characters are often made to look hot and cute which is why I gravitated to the medium so much. More loli moms in anime would be a plus. |
