| Our two protagonists are defined by their difficulty in trusting others. Fujimiya's history of being bullied, and Shiina's abandonment by her parents, have formed their personalities and created the tension in our story. You could say this is a high school romance. But you could also say it is a story about the two lovebirds finding a way to heal from past trauma. And now, with the support of new friend Kadowaki, the circle of trust gets a little bit bigger. A very sweet, if slow moving story. The best bit of the show for me was Amane being hit on by the girls at the mall, and Mahiru rushing to defend her territory and give the girls the brush-off. That was some rom-com gold. And I didn't think Mahiru could actually pull off the mature and sexy look, but that new hair style was awesome. |

| They have done everything a normal couple would do. Holding hands while going out, first name calling, eating everyday together. Like at this point their going out. Whilst on their little day out, they end up going to a cat cafe and the arcade! Also the moment when Shiina went and took Amane away from those girls was nice to see. Kadowaki seems to have found out about them but he seems like a genuinely nice guy I'll trust him for now. Also now him and Itsuki are teasing Amane lol. Damn Mahiru really wanted that kiss huh. This anime is going to raise my blood sugar levels even higher than it already is. Only 3 episodes left now, we are really getting down to the business end of things. My heart needs them to officially announce that their together!! |

| Burst out laughing when those girls came over and asked if Amane wanted to hang out, reverse trope? Is this writer serious? I enjoyed this anime at the beginning when things were a lot more unsure, now this "progressing relationship" feels like a joke, hate this milking from the writer. Still can't get over some of this robotic dialogue as well. |

| So, the hand-holding thing. In his own mind, what he's doing now is "escorting" Mahiru, or making sure she doesn't get lost in the crowd or fall over if she's jostled or- (you get the picture). Mahiru plays along with this because it gives her plausible deniability - Oh, you saw us holding hands? But we definitely aren't dating! Even if we're clearly on a date. To the people making comments about the animation this episode, well, OK it wasn't great but it was a distinct improvement from the last few episodes. [Edit] And something I've just picked up on, Kadowaki doesn't call Mahiru a "wife-in-training" when he's at the karaoke, he calls her a kayoizuma, a "commuting wife", which is where a where a woman doesn't actually live with her husband but still visits to look after him. |

| This episode released on my birthday but I was a day late to watch it lol. Oh well. Looks like Amane and Mahiru had their first actual date lol, and ofc someone who knows them shows up. These guys are really holding hands the whole time, how are they not dating yet? Mahiru really expecting a kiss at the end huh? I guess we were too xD |

| An episode mostly dedicated to Mahiru and Amane going on a date was as good as it sounds, add cats into the mix and you’re golden lol. It was a grand time but Kadowaki sadly hurt the vibe a bit by pointing out the fact they look like a couple which they clearly aren’t (are) lol. I also loved the first bit where Mahiru taught Chitose some cooking lessons, any amount of Chitose is appreciated by me, especially loved her line “What troubles you, my lad?” lol, I can’t believe I’m more into this girl than Mahiru. And the last bit where a kiss was nearly had was great, going for the cheek pinch instead of a kiss is such an Amane move and it was clear that Mahiru was almost wanting one, so close but I’m sure it’ll happen eventually lol. And I’ll say this is the first episode where I noticed a bit of inconsistency with the art, mainly during the cat cafe bit, I know people have been mentioning it for a while but this is the first time it was noticeable to me, didn’t stop it from being a cute scene tho. |

| I dreamt last night that this show had been turned into a VN, and if Amane goes off with the girls at the mall you get a 3-some scene at a hotel, but then Mahiru buys that knife sharpening stone she's always wanted, followed by a nice boat BAD END! |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| i legit thought i was gonna die from how cute this episode was. had a fit of cuteness-aggression as well. i can't take this cuteness anymore, this is too much. also felt real frustation when they both kept touching each other's cheeks so cutely and yet not fucking hugging bro like c'mon please hug, i'm not even asking for kiss eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee at least they can hold hands in public so i'll forgive them but now it is confirmed that even amane likes her 100% and seeing how mahiru's been acting for the past couple episode it's clear for everyone that she does too so now time to confess. we already got a on-top of each other scene with a potential kiss so i think they are teasing that it's gonna happen soon which it should considering only 3 more episodes are left. but mahiru wanting a kiss tho 😭😭. seeing this gives me hope that we might actually get to see it soon. 10/10. |
