| I'm a girl but i like and participates in the BL community since a long time and did meet quite a lot of fudanshi (guys who likes BL) here who werent all gay, bi or such far from it (even if it's ok if they are of course) i think BL is so varied as a genre it's quite hard to never find a story you like especially if your into manga and anime in general and open-minded to this style of manga especially the one with a softer focus on sex more focusing in romance and plot are pretty average manga liking guy compatible, personnaly i'm more into Loveless because of liking fantasy better than sport for the most part but i've seen quite a lot of guy enjoying Yuri On Ice for a exemple recently. They are still some reticent one but overall i think with time anime fans guys have been more and more accepting of yaoi recently. |

| Yes, we exist and the belief gay guys only enjoy bara and not yaoi is false. I don't see how most yaoi are targeted towards ladies, guys in yaoi act according to our fantasies. I felt yaoi is more complete than bara due they can have romance and sex while still look sexy unlike Bara which its rarely romantic and that genre was overrated a lot until 2020. Now, I see more gay guys enjoying yaoi too. The whole "targeted towards ladies" is misleading in the first place considering I enjoy straight romance either josei, shounen or seinen. |

| I'm a girl, but I never got why guys shouldn't like BL. I mean, I - and many other girls - like both GL and BL and it's nothing special. Plus, when watching straight romance, I usually enjoy the ones for male audience more. Like Nagatoro or Shikimori (which I believed to be a Shojo until I found out it's not way after finishing it), as they have well-written male characters and inspiring and relatable female protagonists. |

| Yaoi and Yuri are usually superficial animes, that are just viewed for quick gratification. So I dont think I can enjoy a Yaoi anime, mainly because the story is meh and the yaoi scenes wont be enough to make me stick around to finish the anime. Ill be mostly bored watching the yaoi anime. |
