| And with this finish this first batch of 10 episodes of the second season. RIP Raiden, you were a true man in both life and death. The final clash this time was better than the ones of R2 and R3, and I'm glad for it cause is my favorite one from the manga. With 2 victories and 3 defeats humankind gets into the 6th round, while Zeus tells Buddha to go to fight there. Humans will likely face a troublesome enemy this time. Also, check the post-credit scene! You don't want to miss it! ;) |

| MAL was having maintenance so I couldn't comment here earlier, but: Shiva's kick completely destroyed Raiden's arm while he was throwing his best palm thrust. That was the key moment. I didn't expect that. Shiva's Tandava Karma was too powerful! That was an awesome moment! :D Really, I was so happy that Shiva won, but also felt sad for Raiden. As he was able to communicate with Thrud, he asked her to leave before she would suffer the same fate as him. But Thrud chose to be with him in the end. This is real love right here. The way they disappeared together was tragic but beautiful. Speaking of love, Shiva's boyfriend Rudra came to get him. Their little hug tho! My trash taste aside, Göll was making my eyes roll this season. She was just whining to Brunhilde, not even understanding that this might be the hardest for her sister. :/ But she understood that in the end so... ok. This season was good, certainly better than the last. I liked all four fighters. Fights were more hyped because the animation is better. I can't wait for the next 5 episodes! ^^ Next is Buddha! Lmao I love his design and personality! His voice actor! (Same as Gojo btw.) Look at him munching those snacks and wearing that Usachan shirt lmao! But WAIT. He'll be fighting on the humans' side! Ahhh I love him already! Hahaha! The reactions of the gods were hilarious! Can't wait! XD |

| As sad as I am that Raiden lost, but I know that Shiva deserved to win and should have won... although honestly I was really sad to see Raiden lose :( Huf. Haaaah. I remember that Goll annoyed me quite a bit in the first season because all she did was either be an insignificant commentator or cry and whine. And now she's caught by the gods? Oh god... if she can't help anything then at least don't put more burden on Brunhilde. Buddha! So cool! Wearing usa-chan t-shirt, eating his snack casually while Zeus is having a serious talk and coming to the arena to fight for mankind!! Shouldn't I say he's the most manly god of all? For real. He's a rebel and doesn't want to be ruled/bound by rules but I like it because he believes in his principles and what he thinks is right. The only one who can rule him is himself because he's a god. I just hope that after all this cool stuff, he doesn't lose against any gods (since he'll be on mankind's side that means he'll be fighting fellow gods right?). Can't wait for the other 5 episodes~~~ |

| This series is doing a great job at killing off the characters I'm rooting for. At least they're dying in an epic way. Thrud not bailing out was the definiton of devotion. That's a real mommy unlike Jack's mother. And Buddha hype. So far this season has been a massive improvement, I'm much looking forward to the remaining 5 episodes. |

| Just finished the first 10 eps and man, what a fucking surprise this was. They actually upped the quality. S1 was quite flawed, but still enjoyable. S2 however, is on a whole another level. 8/10, very solid. Hope the rest of S2 will be great too. Rumor is that its droppin in June. |

| I can't decide whom I love more, Jack or Buddha. This season is two points better than the first one so far. Btw that scene with Buddha hugging Zeus, I guess that was a reference to Judas' kiss. |

| Shiva win~ and Raiden died standing. The ED song visual, the 2 alive/winning Valkyrie are opening their eyes while the dead ones closed... Except for the oldest and the youngest doesn't count since the manga is still ongoing. Jack saving Goll~ he look hotter without his hat. Buddha fighting for the mankind! Love seeing those greek gods are in fury after hearing that! Pretty sure Buddha is strong by heard what Zeus saying. Maybe the mangaka religion is Buddha. |
