| Heh, they really need Shouxue's help whenever it deals with ghosts. Seems she's the first person to always be contacted in these recent events. This episode felt slightly underwhelming compared to the others but you know, it's still Shouxue taking care of business. Shouxue;s sharp intellect never ceases to amaze. |

| They kind of .. quickly went back into the whole episodic weekly ghost solving case, after we finally started to reveal a bit more about the worlds histroy, and specifically Ryuu's origin and past, as well as her role in all of this. Also don't worry, eunuchs can take a beating ... their balls are already cut off, so no more damage can be possibly done, mental, or physical. |

| This story was simple but effective, eunuchs with tough backstories, and the meaning of friendship. It's my favourite episode so far because of one simple thing, the story affects Jusetsu, as it made her ponder her relationship with the emperor. Yi Siha was a solid character as well, hope we see more of him. That post-credit scene might set up some future plot lines as well. A good improvement over some of the previous episodes, and this type of simple storytelling worked really well. |
| This episode ghost was in the wrong. Was a written rule about revere the birds, and the kid had the audacity to show the dead bird to the consort. |

| Damn man Eunuchs may even have it worse than the raven consort. From sexual to physical abuse to getting betrayed by your own best friend.. some really messed up situations and seemingly no one to ever speak up on their behalf. Even the emperor was not aware of the extent of this which is telling. Hopefully the culture will start to change in the inner palace thanks to Shoxue. |

| It's back to the episodic mystery-of-the-week formula, concerning a death resurrected. New children eunuchs like Yi Siha have to endure rough treatment by their masters if they speak balderdash, and he comes in with a request that he could see ghosts, like a Hadan kid in the Feiyan Palace, and he needs a solution for those who believe his story, just like the Raven Consort Shouxue herself. A visit to the Palace renders that fact being true, and the ghostly hauntings are confirmed by this other eunuch Kang Lan of the death. The fact that an eunuch falling in love with a Consort is a big taboo and notifying Gaojun in the proper approach. Through the loops of eunuchs who know of this matter, Yi Siha pays dearly for his witness to action, and Shouxue takes him in for the moment, while solving the case with Shi Yan, the eunuch who is close with Yuisha, the executed eunuch. Using birds and plucking out its feathers in an attempt to please the Consort, it went from bad to worse until the moment that he was executed, with Shi Yan being unable to forget about the ordeal with the dead blue swallow, more than just a friend. It's the same for Wen Ying, who became an eunuch and was eventually picked up by Gaojun himself, Really, eunuchs have it tough. |

| Actually chills...that ending transition was so emotionally loud.... I really like the scarred acrobat; I hope he will be able to have more impact in the future rather then just being a simple errand boy. Looks like the party at the Raven Palace grows stronger |

| I don't blame the kid. Keigo is hard. Glad he went Shouxue about this. Shouxue is developing a strong detective group while navigating the dark secrets in the palace and making peace. The theme of friendship was a nice touch as well in this episode. I am a bit worried though. The more she interacts with people in the palace the more chances she might lose control. Maybe even summon Niao Luan? On another note I wonder if the previous Raven Consort becomes that thing when they die to continue the cycle. |

| beautiful episode. they showed us that woman asking a lover to be resurrected before the OP and then refused to show more of that. it probably will come up in future episodes. man, swallow consort is so cute. an eunuch's life seems hard. there must be so many other eunuch's like the boy shouxue helped, as the winter king i'm sure she can do something about this, even as a raven consort it looks like people will obey her. kinda fucked up how that bird boy was killed because of his childish foolishness, he clearly didn't have have anyone who would guide him and he didn't realise what he was doing was wrong until a bird died. bro didn't run though he went and took the punishment which was too harsh for the crime commited. this got me thinking that just how many men must be falling for consorts? and i'm sure all of them are exquisitely pretty. those last words of emperor before leaving shouxue were no less than a confession in my eyes. after that last scene i really hope shouxue does something about the cruelty that eunuch's face. though i'm not surprised at the injustice or the lack of justice in those times where power and statuses were above everything and people could even get away doing things for which they ought to be punished. we might find out more about the goddess in next episode. seems like when the goddess comes out it takes a toll on shouxue for some reason, maybe the goddess is using shouxue's vessel in a sense to get into the physical world or something. a very enjoyable episode all in all. 5/5. looking forward to next one. |

| Damn, I really only realized last episode how terrifying Shouxue could be and this episode solidified that. That Eunuch deserved it though, got his ass shitting. Another great episode! The show just gets better and better for me, I hope we get more seasons. Eunuchs have it rough man. Wen Ying begging for Shouxue to take in Yi Siha as her Eunuch was pretty emotional. Hope she does, plus, the more the merrier in her lodgings. What that Eunuch ghost was doing with the birds to simp was messed up, but at least he realized he was going to far. What's even more messed up is how he was beheaded for that though... |

| Good episode although it seems to have started with a mysterious girl that wanted someone resurrected and then switched to a boy that sees a ghost. It's a shame that he got caned for claiming he saw a ghost by his master but at least he's no longer with him. Towards the end Shouxue was having a nightmare with the bird from the intro, curious what that's all about. |

| The episodic story isn't what shines here, but it's how the events affect the main and reoccurring characters. So many small, but wonderful and beautiful moments. So good….. |

| i picked up this show because it's premise reminded me of Mushishi, an anime which I greatly enjoy. i knew that it was probably not going to follow Mushishi's direction though, and the first few episodes proved that thought right. however, this episode was very good. the setup and pacing of the mystery is well-crafted, and it interweaves different stories smoothly. hopefully the next few eps stay on this track |

| I feel really invested in this anime. The slowburn romance, the mystifying animation, the care each (main) character shows to one another. And this episode, it all culminated in the last scene, when we received a fountain of emotions from the most stoic character....i didn't expect it at all, and it reminded me of really serios people in my life that explode emotionally when something moves them deeply. It might be anime of the season for me. |

The emperor said that he (Emperor himself) had caused much hardship for his eunuch, to which his eunuch (can't remember names either lol) replied, "What are you saying? There's been no hardship at all." Oh, I see, I thought he said that as a joke, and the other guy took it too seriously (like always). Thanks for telling me :) |

| Wtf poor Yi Siha, all because he pointed out something minor. Why does everyone have such sad backgrounds? I want to learn more about Jiu-jiu. I would think being a eunuch would be an easy job but clearly is quite the opposite. I always forget there's end credits. When did it mention that their balls get cut off? Wouldn't a man die from getting them castrated since it has so much blood flow? At least we now know why he has a scar on his face. |

| I gotta say I quite enjoy the way the show carries itself; in what is an episodic plot point about a eunuch who got carried away, they managed to throw in tidbits of character growth and development while seamlessly throwing in teasers for what the next episode will bring. Not bad considering the easiest way one could describe this series is that it's about a Consort who goes around solving mysteries of the palace. |
